140 lb, I can squat > 400 lb

The machine won't go any higher and it still feels like nothing. I should try squatting weights so I can show off my freakishly powerful ass muscles. The rest of my body isn't so strong.

I did all the crap and none of my muscles really feel sore. I do know how to workout properly, or at least I thought I did. I also force-fed myself a bunch of fast food for calories. I'm going for Ryan Renalds ripped. I saw him in Deadpool without a shirt and thought "I want to look like that guy".

Do you mean you can press 400?

Your body must be pure muscle if you can squat 400 at your weight

Yeah at the gym I go to the only people I've ever seen squatting 400 barely even go a fraction of the way to the bottom

It's also pretty impressive if you're able to get the bar off the rack at that weight without some form of core training

Yeah the machine that simulates squating.

It was my first day so I wasn't confident enough to mess with the real weights.

As far as I know there isn't a machine that simulates squatting. The Smith Machine tries and fails miserably at doing it. You should probably avoid that.

This is my signature, there are many others like it, but this one is mine.
If you take 110% of what I say seriously then you're gonna have a bad time.

Using machines allows you to do far more, because you aren't using your muscles to also stabilize the weight. With the squat machine I can do about 800, legit squats 500 lbs. So it's a pretty big difference.

And sometimes, the machines are outright wrong with the numbers on the weights, which definitely seems the case.
