I prefer FPSes with a mouse, but this game is still pretty sluggish so it's fine with a controller. RE7 is amazing - I played it on PC and had a blast. It controls great with mouse and keyboard. You can just play it like an FPS. I would recommend a keyboard with macros just because holding shift to run can be awkward, but you can say that about a lot of games. well yeh but I was thinking of playing in my couch. So I'd need a controller.
