I have recently realized that its been around 8 years since my high school graduation and it got me thinking about my slow progression into adulthood. Regardless, I am curious of your life outline since high school..

For me,

2010: High school graduation year, no diploma.

2010 - 2013: Sat around the house playing video games.

2013: Recieved high school diploma.
2013: Started college, majored in computer science, played a lot of WoW.

2014: Recieved first car, more college, played a lot of WoW.

2015: More college, some failure in college.

2016: Double majored, computer programming and computer science.

2017: Graduated with associate degree in computer programming. 3.2 GPA.
2017: Bought a Ford Ranger 99.
2017: Got first job unrelated to degree (Petco).
2017: 8 year anniversary with high school first gf.
2017: Became great with front end web development.

Current: Working on Computer Science, learning PHP.

Future: Move out of remote area/get own place to live, and get a job related to degrees.

Aside from that, how has your life progressed since your senior year? That is what I am most curious about.. dont care if you graduated or not.

14.5 years. For the first 9 years or so I just did the typical boring shit. Work, play video games, periodically manage to get laid, etc. Nothing to exciting.

Little over 5 years ago I decided I needed to shake things up. Went to Thailand/Cambodia for 2 months and from there ended up visiting 2 more times for a total of about a year before moving here (Thailand) 20 months ago. Have had a baby, bought 2 houses and moved to a foreign country during that 5 year period.

Bump.

Graduated in 2005

Went to college for a couple semesters but didn't finish. One semester for music, switch to accounting for the next semester, didn't go back after that because I lost interest.

Had a full time job as a manager at a Pump-It-Up immediately after graduating High School.

After I decided I was done with college I got a full time job at a construction company, working in the office. Eventually moved to a bigger construction company in the same field of work, also an office job. Been working there full time since 2008.

Got married in 2014.

- Went to Circuit City, got approved for a $5000 limit on a credit card
- Mervyn's closed down, laid off in December
2006:
- Maxed out credit card, could not afford to pay due to job instability
- Became a contractor doing a few different jobs
2007:
- Got a full time job doing ISP tech support
- Started paying credit card off
2011: Left ISP tech support job for desktop tech support job
2012: Left desktop tech support job to work in a NOC
2013:
- Got my CCENT and CCNA Routing and Switching certifications, promoted to tier 2 data technician in the NOC
- Bought a new car (2013 Toyota Camry XLE Hybrid)
2014: Got my CCNA Security certification, got promoted to network engineer
2015: Job got bought out by a bigger company in October
2016:
- Completed my CCNP Routing and Switching certification
- Left job to be the sole network engineer at another company
2017:
- Paid off car
- Paid off all credit card debt

2008: Graduated high school

2009: Started community college, got my first girlfriend, started working at Sheetz (Wawa knock-off), broke up with first girlfriend

2010: Got high for the first time

2011: Nothing note-worthy

2012: Spent most of year drinking and getting high, got my second girlfriend, broke up with second girlfriend, had first one night stand with a 35 year old mother, graduated community college with an associate's in general studies (pointless), hooked up with best friend's ex-girlfriend.

2013: Continued hooking up with best friend's ex-girlfriend every now and then, went to Firefly Music Festival and got paranoid from being too high, met my third girlfriend at work, got a criminal charge for a hit and run.

2014: Charge was dropped. Spent almost every day with girlfriend.

2015: Started LPN school

2016: Graduated LPN school

2017: Got my nursing license, finally got out of Sheetz, proposed to my girlfriend at the beach, bought our first house together, and got a rescue puppy.

2018: Tying the knot on July 14th.

2003: Graduated. Moved into a dorm, started Uni and worked in the reserves.
2004: Got a Girlfriend Moved out of the dorm into my first apartment and worked in the reserves.
2005: Dropped out of school in October to move to Edmonton to train for my tour deployment.
2006: Spent 9 months in Afghanistan, with a couple leaves to Italy, Switzerland, Austia, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, Cyprus and Dubai.
2007: Went to Mexico. Broke up with Girlfriend. Joined a band. Quit the military. Moved to Montreal.
2008: Got a Girlfriend. Worked. Went on tour with a band. Restarted University. Traveled to Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and Greece
2009: Worked different jobs. Went to School. Formed a new band.
2010: Worked different jobs. Went to school.
2011: Dropped out of school. Worked different jobs.
2012: Broke up with Girlfriend. Got new girlfriend and a new job. Went on a few weekend tours with my band.
2013: Travelled to France. Worked.
2014: Worked and started school for massage therapy.
2015: Broke up with girlfriend. Got new girlfriend. Started writing a book. Got massage therapy certificate.
2016: Went to Costa Rica. Finished writing my book. Got engaged.
2017: Published my book. Went to Panama. Worked. Planned a wedding.

Pretty fun life thus far, I gotta say. I've enjoyed the progression.

2009: Graduated with a bachelors degree in engineering. Got engaged to my ex. I was 23

2010: Got my first job as an electrical engineer. Broke up with ex. Bought my very first brand new car, it was a Mazda 3 2010. Met current husband a few months later.

2011: Moved to the US. Got another job as an electrical engineer

2012: Got a job with a big Fortune 500 company. Hated it and couldnt stand the industry anymore

2014: Got engaged and married current husband. Quit last job. Decided to switch field and go into sales.

2015: Got a new sales job that was commission only but was able do very well. Increased my salary about 50%. Got an Audi A3.

2016: New sales job with an awesome company, more stability, amazing benefits and good money. Finally hit 6 figures. Im very happy with this job and have no plans to leave anytime soon. Also bought my first house.
