I sort of started this before ages ago but forgot about it when I got busy. I already know it's a great show from what I've seen (I've also seen further ahead from when they broadcast it on Nickelodeon years ago).

The beginning of season 3 gets a bit preachy as they cash in on the good will from the first 2, but then it picks up again.

The finale of TLA is easily one of the best parts in both series', second only to Korra's fight against the Red Lotus in LoK S3.

TLA is iconic.

I have no real complaints outside of season 2 being a general flop along with a little too much on the "relationship" talk. TC, watch the movie if you're bored. The movie's not really so bad it's funny though. It's just deadeyed actors acting emotionlessly through stilted dialogue. Nothing crazy happens that makes it funny.

I really enjoyed Toph and Katara's story! It was very touching.

The death of the voice actor Mako occurred around that time. I forget if it impacted Iroh's story or not, but the character was conspicuously silent toward the end IIRC.

Glad you're liking it, TC. TLA Books 2 and 3 and LoK's Books 1, 3 and choice eps of 4 are some of the finest television you can watch.
My advice is to not go into LoK expecting it to be TLA 2.0. LoK is the Yin to TLA's Yang in just about every quantifiable aspect (inb4 some particulary witty soul goes herpaderp yeah cuz TLA's awesome and LoK sucks mirite?). --- Simple questions deserve long-winded answers that no one will bother to read. ... I meant TLA. It's quite the emotional experience. But before that, you have GOT to tell me how you react to The Ember Island Players. It's the last episode before the finale and is the best executed recap episode I've ever seen in a series.
