Nick Saban paused, Brees wrote. That was really all I needed to hear. His pause told me everything.

Saban can blame his team doctors all he wants, but it sounds like he could have easily overrode the decision and taken Brees had he believed in the QB.

I honestly like the idea of 6 because it seems like every year so far, there have been two teams that didn't make it that had an argument. The bye would be nice for the top 2, but it would also mean one less potential win so idk. This year was a little weird, so I have no idea who would be in an 8 team playoff. I felt Auburn was too highly ranked, and it's hard to argue against UCF (even before the bowl season).
