Me- I read an article saying Jimmy G was bellichexks man. He wanted to let Brady walk because while he might have 2 more mvp seasons Jimmy GQ is the future.

Guy- it's clear you like football but you don't really follow it. Brady is gonna be an mvp for 10 more years and no one doubts this.

He's talking about Brady being mvp st like 49. I wouldn't even mind that opinion but I hate people saying they follow something and know way more than you when they obviously don't know jack shot.

I think it was a stealth trolling against Kaep to deal him to the 9ers and he has done so well.

The people in my bar hate me as a niners fan. Long before protests I was saying Kaep sucked and wouldn't amount to much.

Had people challenge me to fights over it.

They're all hard-core niners fans. They don't give two shots that keep can't read d, has no touch and stares down his first read.

Brady's longevity is directly tied to how BB has crafted an offensive style and an offensive line that keeps TB from taking damage.

10 more years is ridiculous, as far as MVP caliber play, but if he stays off his back, he could probably play for 10 more.

I'd peg Marleau to be a longer lasting player than Thornton tbh, I can see Marleau going to his mid 40's. I don't want to see either retire though, big fan of both guys.

I still don't think him playing 10 more years is likely. Manning had more injuries but the way he fell off I don't see anyone playing forever. That said if someone was going to it'd be Brady. That said shutting down the idea b thither Jimmy was the future and assuming he thought Brady had 10 mvp years ahead is ridiculous.

So true, what's crazy about it was Gregg Popovich was the one who told belly to do it. Sending Jimmy to san fran is just a ruse to distract the entire sports world from the Spurs, so they can sneak up on everyone and win the title this year.

Pop is a legit genius

Idk, huge sharks fan. Probably the team I follow closest. Marleau is fast and to the net. I wish he was on the sharks this year. That said I don't think his skill set will age as well as Joe who has always played a slow, control the puxk game. Both have looked better than expected this year but Joes goals are up, his skating doesn't seem down and his pick awareness hadn't deemed to dip at all. In my kind they're both hof players but Joe is definitely a step ahead.

He's probably the best passing forward since Larionov on the Red Wings in the mid to late 90's. A true playmaker through and through, I still remember the massive deal sending him to SJ from Boston.

The deal that set both franchises on a path. I'm only 26 and the deal seems forever ago. To me Joe had always been a shark but he's almost had two amazing careers. The guy is definitely gold and a sure fire hall of famer.

Marleau will always be Mr shark and I love him to death but I don't see his game type having the same longevity.

Both of them getting old/ leaving for the team (I love you Marleau) scram sharks rebuild and I don't like it because I think the talent to compete is still there.
