There has been a lot of discussion and arguing about whether Indians are Asian or not. Well, what if I told you that these people right here are Indians?


Yes, that's right. This is what around 20-25% of Indians look like. And no, they don't have anything to do with China or any other Asian country. Most of them are Hindu and culturally more closer to other Indians. The entire Northeastern part of India is of Asian descent. We do share a little similarities with Tibet, which is more closer to India than it is to China.

Also, India is way more diverse than you may think. If you go to some of the north and northwestern-most parts of India, you will even find natural blondes and red heads. For example, a naturally blonde haired, blue-eyed Kashmiri Hindu.

In fact, this is what a lot of full-blooded North Indians look like.







Now, I know, a lot of people will say that these types make up a very small % but that's not true. Most of these are average guys and not models/celebs. You will indeed find average people like this in some parts of India.

Another stereotype people has is that whole India is a hot desert. That's funny because the tallest mountain range in the world is in India and most of the highest peaks after Mt. Everest are in India. (Mt. Everest is in Nepal, which is a separate country but basically like a part of India that broke off)

Though, India has one of
the largest deserts in the world and the highest recorded temperature is over 51C. The lowest recorded temperature is -60 C and the second coldest inhabited place on earth after Siberia is in India, it's a town called Drass.

It snows in a very large portion of India. It snows in approximately 350,000km of the country, which is more area than the entire size of most countries.

It snows so much that entire highways get blocked.

I don't want to make this any longer (there are a few more things like the rainiest place on earth, Indians of African origin, Jews , a winter desert, etc.). India has some of the hottest, coldest and rainiest places on earth. There are over 1600 languages spoken here and people of every race and religion can be found here. We don't fit into any single category.

We are White, Brown, Black, Asian, Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Jew, Buddhist, Zoroastrian, Jain, etc... This picture of the Indian Army perfectly illustrates India's diversity. Here you can see people of various ethncities.

Lmao, of course he is, African is not a race. Maybe Black African would be a race. Africa is a continent. And no, these people don't have anything to do with any other country. India spans across a huge geographic location, with every type of climate and topography imaginable.

Glad you found it interesting and yes, cows of all sorts are considered sacred by some. But there are a lot of places where they are eaten. Beef is very popular in South India.

yes, india is a huge place with a huge amount of ethnic, linguistic and geographic diversity. a lot of people associate india with basically just dravidian people and don't realize how many different ethnic groups actually are in india. there's no "indian" ethnicity, but I guess you can't blame the average person for not knowing that much about india since most people don't know much about anything outside of their immediate area

Around 20-25% Indians are racially Asian as I said. Maybe more because India is so diverse that you can find people in the same family that look like completely different races. For example, one of my teachers back in school looked Asian (epicanthic folds) even though he was Bengali and most Bengalis don't look like that.
