Sigh, no more $3.88 a pound Rib eye steaks. I was planning on going and getting another 10 pounds today but totally forgot.

Not the end of the world as they have a 5 day sale starting on friday for $4.77 t-bone steaks at least (and I'm really rib eye steaked out right now).

Also they have boneless/skinless chicken breasts/things for $1.30 a pound, so think I'm gonna chicken it up till friday at least.

I keep trying to tell people to shop at safeway not winco/walmart etc, but they believe the signs at those other stores that show the prices are cheaper then safeway (it's safeways base prices they use before even card discounts). I have not saved less then 60% on checkout at safeway in the last month, which means I pay literally half as much as I would have at other stores like costco etc. I shop based on what is on sale, but considering I'm eating rib eyes, making lasagna, steak chilli etc.....it's not like I don't get good options.
