yeah i like saving pr. a lot better, don't get the love for apocolypse, it doesn't have that much action imo. And private ryan should have won best pic over shakespeare, i don't even got how that film won.

I liked saving private Ryan and the thin red line.
Never seen apocalypse now. War movies are bittersweet to me, because the stories are usually well written and emotional, but I dont like the action. Hard to compare the two. Apocalypse Now is psychological. Especially the scene when they make it to the bridge and everyone is shell shocked and they ask where the CO is and no one knows.
