So many people getting blasted for supporting the Time's Up movement at the Golden Globes. Susan Sarandon, Ivanka Trump, Justin Timberlake... liberals need to focus their energy elsewhere, stop attacking people who agree with them.

I'm saying tone down the hostility towards people who are mainly on the same side as them. Bill Maher has talked about this before. There's something wrong when vegans are attacking vegetarians, atheists are attacking agnostics, etc.

Ok but attacking ivanka isn't attacking an ally. She's entirely complicit with what's going on and is only trying to pay lip service to the movement. Actions speak louder than words, but words are all she has. She's focused on building her brand, and that's all.

Ivanka is relatively liberal, but most of the attacks on her are in the vein of "your dad is a predator" which has nothing to do with her. It's a complicated situation with family. It's possible to support someone close to you in spite of their faults, and still support the larger issue. But whatever, I'll give you that one.

Attacking Susan Sarandon is especially funny to me.

I'm glad they have come to an agreement. North Korea technically qualified two athletes for the games in figure skating; though they have missed the deadline to accept the quota, something that should be easily reversed by the IOC/ISU.

I wonder if they would be able to bargain for any other spots such as short track speed skating (they sent a team to the 2017 Asian Winter Games).

So @scarletspeed7, a congressman has entered the STABLE GENIUS Act, which basically stipulates that Presidential candidates need to have a medical and psychological evaluation and have that evaluation released to the public.

This is basically political theater that has no chance of becoming law, but I can't help but think this law is almost certainly on the books in the West Wing Universe.
