Probably depends on the church. The churches Ive been to the members didnt care. We had a guy at our church that had been a member for as long as Ive been alive. He always wore a tattered shirt and overalls. He was poor and never donated anything to the church. No one cared. He was just as much a member of the church as the doctor that was an active deacon.

Depends on church. According to the teachings they shouldn't. But some people will anyway. They have forgotten the point of the teachings and instead think going to church is what makes you a good follower of Christ
