Anyway, I beat this for the first time two years ago and honestly the only thing I find annoying about the design is that once you get something that isn't the starting knife or pistol, dealing with enemies becomes significantly less scary. So many one hit kill weapons too

RE4 is still my favorite game of all time though

the cheesy lines mostly come from the original ps1 version
there are a lot of differences between the psx version and the remake
its not just a fresh coat of paint, its like playing 2 different games that started off the same idea.

the original has the classic lines

"you were almost a jill sandwich"

i hope the RE2 remake does the same and creates a whole new experience rather than just making the exact same game just prettier

The "I have THIS!" Scene in Rev2 might just be my favourite RE scene ever. Just the way Barry delivers that line.

The "I have THIS!" Scene in Rev2 might just be my favourite RE scene ever. Just the way Barry delivers that line.

You know it's a shitty game but one of my favorite scenes in RE is in RE6 when ___ grabs ____'s shoulder and goes "You saved me"

That was legitimately a "Daaawww" moment.

i personally liked re6 and never understood the extreme hate it gets online
i mean its the weakest entry in the franchise but i never thought of it as a terrible game.

my only 2 complaints about it are that with 2 campaigns i think that claire and jill should have been in the game.

so that it the 4 campaigns would be chris, leon, claire and jill

and i hate jake

Because it's shit.

It's an okay co-op action game.

But as a horror game, a survival game, a single player game, a story... Or in fact any metric beyond generic co-op shooter, it's shit.

It's so paint by numbers and dull.

Honestly they could have changed the character names, called the game "Ryder's Rough Weekend" and no one would have ever even compared it to other RE Games.

I did not enjoy Re6 at all. Just not my thing. Unfortunate because I did find the enemy designs good.

But the game itself just did not grab me like the other games did.
