what counts as white has changed over history. people used to not count Irish as white, believe it or not. also, in ancient times, like in the Roman Empire, there was no collective "white race". every tribe or culture was a different race. you had the Roman race, the Gallic race, the German race, the British race....

They are clearly a recent addition with their origins in Africa and are not Greek by race or ethnicity. Also, we are talking about Achilles here and not Ottoman Rule.
