Cause it's wouldnt be that fun of a challenge if I could sub anyone I wanted for Magus the entire play through till I get him. This way I'm restricted for quite a while till I get him.

You're only going to get to use Frog on Dalton's airship since Crono is forced until then and you get Magus right after that.
