McGregor is a great actor and did a lot with Obi-Wan, but JESUS this is wooden. He and Portman are both straight out of a high school play here.

Rewatched Anakin vs Obi too, and fuck... the dialogue and Christiansens delivery... its so bad, and even the fight while overall entertaining is saddled with some ridiculous bullshit choreography.

And like, after all that, we ultimately just get the Vader NOOOOOO and Padme dying because she was sad?

Im eternally giving benefit of the doubt to films and shows, and even 12 year old me actively realized this is a bad movie when watching Attack of the Clones for the first time in the theater.

Its just schlock. I dont understand how people rag on the sequel trilogy for being even worse. It isnt close.
