People can look at it however they want. I personally, saw it as a gag from the getgo, and it seems a few others did too since they knew apparently with the first image. Gag =/= lying. If I gave someone a 20 dollar bill that turned out to be fake, I didn't lie. If I said "This IS a 20 dollar bill", that's a lie. See the difference?

I can't tell if you're being deliberately obtuse because this whole thing has you on the defensive or if you're really just not seeing what the distinction is here and why people have drawn a line.

It's fine to say "I was just kidding", but appreciate that once you start to do actual damage to people "I was just kidding" is no longer a valid defence for your actions. Understand, people started to really gang up on deadpool and accuse him of being a creep, and you didn't come forward at any point to say "nah, just kidding".

Hypothetical scenario - if I outed you as a pedo and falsified evidence to back that joke up, you can imagine that "that's just my quirky sense of humour" wouldn't really stand as a defense. Similarly those youtube videos of guys vandalising people's ferraris and then saying "it's just a prank bro" doesn't really get people on their side. The damage was already done whatever their intentions.

People are just saying you should have been more self aware at how bad it is to make false creeper evidence when it has actual consequences, basically.
