First used it back in the late 90s to look up walkthroughs for Dragon Ball Z Legends (game wasn't in English, needed help) and to print codes and movelists for Mortal Kombat Trilogy.

Can't remember exactly when I started posting but I was there for the PS vs N64 console war. Read about it in magazines and argued about it around here. I remember how they used to mod people for posting anything critical of The Legend of Zelda or Mario.

I was stuck in Chrono Cross, so I googled something like "chrono cross help" and found GameFAQs. Unfortuantely, the FAQ couldn't help me. The "puzzle" involved swapping the order of your teammates which is done by pressing start (or select), but I never pushed those buttons and the FAQ writer probably assumed that we weren't total fucking idiots. >_> I ended up giving up on Chrono Cross for a few months because I couldn't figure it out, then when I tried playing again, I randomly pressed start and saw what it did.
