havent really played a lot of VNs... i think i liked "if my heart had wings" the best, im sure clannad will beat it easily once i get my hands on it.

I'm not a fan of VNs since, like, I'm a gamer first - if I turn on text skip I could speed run a VN in a few seconds... in fact, I did.

One of the first three Phoenix Wright games, probably (I don't have a favourite among the three, since they're all great). Doki Doki Literature Club is also fucking fantastic.

I don't have a lot of experience with them since Katawa Shoujo is my only experience and I highly doubt Alchemy Meister counts as one.

Star Control 2
Instead of conversing with cute girls, you converse with a plethora of alien races/societies. If sci-fi is your thing, you're really missing out if you haven't played it. Also, games in the 90's don't hold your hand, and quest logs are basically your personally handwritten notes. A true visual novel? Steins;Gate.

i hate the lazy ones like Hakuoki. where it's like reading a book. text after text after text and never the picture match what is going on in the story.
I do love phoniex wright or professor layton where it's a lot more interactive and you feel more like the main character. Where are more of those game? --- I'm always 50% right all the time ... Copied to Clipboard!

My favourite series have been Professor Layton, Phoenix Wright, and the Zero Escape trilogy.

i never played the 999 games because i didnt have a ds so i just read the plot summary, and i liked it, im sure it would be a blast to actually play it.
euphoria is a bit similar, its a hentai visual novel but the scenes can be too extreme for you, i didnt even get this for the girls, just for the story. i also like the twists in this one better. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
