And this is why Japanese Manga >>>>>>>>>> American Comics.
Manga mostly only have 1 writer through out the whole series and has the majority say of what happens in the series whether it becomes an anime or has OVA or has non-canon movies. American comics have different writers all the fucking time writing in new canon shit for different characters in the same universe while trying to connect everything to everyone making it a huge clusterfuck, they have to use multiverse angles to differentiate why things don't connect and then it still gets so fucking messy that they have to shithole in a plot to reset the universe. --- Don't like it?
