Was that one more enjoyed than the current entries in the new trilogy? I haven't seen VIII yet (NO SPOILERS YA FILTHY ANIMALS) but people seem to hate it, and TFA was basically a rehash

R1 was great. TFA was great, if a bit too safe and similar to ANH in some respects. TLJ is great.

my only problem with Rogue One is that they pretty much made an entire movie to justify a flaw in the Death Star it doesn't really tie in to anything else

Haven't seen VIII yet but Rogue One was the best Star Wars movie since ROTJ.

Rogue One was enjoyable, it wasn't "bad" but I had no desire to see it again.

Remember that everyone speaks in hyperbole now. TFA wasn't bad either, it was just kind of a retread so people bitched.

Same is happening with The Last Jedi. Now people are bitching cause it's too different.

People need to realize that they're never going to get Episode 4-6 again so they should just enjoy these films for what they are.

you worship anything with Star Wars branding. You literally loved EA battlefront. That game was fucking trash.

You're one to criticize other's opinions on Star Wars

Wasn't a big fan of TFA but I loved Rogue One. First 1/3 is a little slow but the rest is solid.

Rogue One is my favorite of the new movies.

I thought it was pretty slow until the battle starts. Then it's great until the end. It takes a while to get there though.

Rogue One is my favorite SW movie, and I also believe it is the best SW movie. I truly don't understand people's complaints about characters, pacing, or anything else. But opinions are opinions, it's ok.

I really enjoyed Rogue. They could have developed the characters a little better, but the movie was great otherwise. They expanded the established SW universe in an interesting way.

R1 was incredibly dull until the last 45 minutes, and that by itself isn't enough to redeem the rest of the movie.

Rogue One was for the OT and EU fanboys; TFA and TLJ are for the casual fans.

Felt it could have been better without the family angle. Like, a dude specifically sabotaged the death star by design...thats kind of silly and superfluous imo.

The original movie already justified the weakness by saying the defenses were built to fight large scale battles. And the weakness was so slight they almost failed anyway. We didnt need an extra layer of "it was on purpose!"

Should have just made it a straight up "steal the plans" plot.

Buuuuut I liked it. The action was solid, the robot was bae, and I liked the cast. The non-Jedi force religion was cool too.

People crying that Snoke isn't Plagueis, Snoke isn't so and so, Rey isn't a Skywalker, Rey isn't a Solo, Luke doens't go dark, rey doesn't go dark you name it.

And shippers are more people than fascist trogs.
