Yeah lol maybe they should have given her at least one badass scene to showcase her talent and why she deserves the (surprisingly small) office of the former boss. Eh no biggie, I might be surprised in the next few episodes.

She was pretty horrible character. Time after time she keep putting the guy who worked under/ her partner in lose lose situations. When he was the only person shown treating her well. And she repays that by going out of her way to compromise him.

On episode 11. If nothing else, the redneck subplot tied in better to the main plot than even the lesbian sideplot of Jessica Jones.

The funny part is that I think that storyline was added last minute as a B-plot, and it turned out pretty good.

Didn't they literally say it had something to do with her heritage? Or was that just why she was recruited in the first place?

I haven't watched since it released so maybe I'm remembering wrong.
