I don't know much about the subject, and I've never seen a trans character in a game, but Tales of Xillia talks about the subject.

Milla is genderless, in a female body. They talk about that subject quite a bit. They have discussions about sexism as well.

Is this a game that is accepted and praised by the community? I think it might be the only game I've ever played that even acknowledges the subject.
