You have games like Fortnite and PUBG who are basically saying "buy it now and it'll be good and finished later we promise"

Can you imagine if any of the AAA publishers caught wind of that

Every game would be released in parts and it would be atrocious

Sports games would be released twice a year

CoD would be released one map at a time

Ubisoft would lock half of an Assassin's Creed map behind a paywall

Just some possibilities tbh

The problem is that most early access games ARE paid for.

I early accessed RWBY Grimm Eclipse but the final game was fantastic

PUBG has no reason to bitch about Fortnite when both games literally aren't even done yet
