Oh, sure, let me dig up some pics.

It's frankensteined from other mods, but all of them allowed using it. I stopped due to a combo of burnout and my version of photoshop not supporting alpha channels.

I don't just use STEP mods though, I started with that and if I see something I like I'll add it and if it breaks anything I'll just uninstall it lol

I might have to reel it in a lil though cause I was playing today and in Windhelm for some reason a lot of the textures don't load properly cause I think there's just so many assets and I don't have enough to vram to handle it all

Okay, um, let's see.

Here's a closeup of the top part and the NPC I was making that gives you the armor. I think this is with a sorta alpha (shine depending on lighting) that someone with other photoshop helped me with but they also got burnt out and couldn't do that and the bump maps for me anymore.


And here's the most recent picture of it in Blender I was able to find. (I was using the yellow to block out the designs)


Found some early rigging tests. Finishing up the rigging was one of the last parts it needed. There were just like two spots that needed work.


Ah, getting the skirt to not be shiny.


Lastly, some testing I did with trying to get the metal texture and shine just right.


I don't seem to have any pictures with it in it's most recent, whole, and complete form.

I was going to release it in a variety of colors and had a bunch of stuff partially done in CreationKit so you could swap colors in game via crafting, and even upgrade the armor as you played, and even some lore stuff like a book was partially done.

At this point, I've forgotten everything so much that I'd have to relearn everything in hopes of finishing it, so if it ever does, it'd probably because I found someone who knows what they're doing who wanted to 'adopt' it and get it through the last push since trying to do so myself would be hell.

Some of CE should remember this project. I was doing work on it about two years ago now.

hey that's really cool man, I like that you can swap colors that purple is a little too bright for my taste lol. maybe once skyrim vr comes out on pc you'll have reason to pick it up again ;)

I've never even played skyrim. >_> (I mean, a little bit other than testing--but compared to how much there is to do it may as well be nothing) I was making this so I could play it with armor I liked since I didn't like any of the armor mods I found. I wanted something that had plenty of coverage and practicality but was still feminine. Had some designs on it, but still overall simple. And purple. I like purple.
But yeah, finishing it myself would take relearning everything I learned for it, so even fixing the two spots of rigging would take ages.

The purple ended up way too shiny initially, yeah.

I have no idea. I think I had one called Pretty Faces? *looks* My mod loader has something called No More Blocky Faces in it.

dude are you seriously asking this in 2017

sorry for the condescension lol but seriously if you haven't played Skyrim at this point you really should. It's a flawed game in every sense of the word in the same way Bethesda games usually are. But I still love it, it's super influential and important, and it's the most moddable game ever. I pretty much never do the story so idk how long that would take you but I promise you'll never run out of stuff to do. The open world is big by 2011 standards and average by today's standards, but there are so many quests the game will keep you busy. There are three official expansions and I'm sure a whole bunch of expansion mods online you can get.

Plus the complete edition is on sale for like 10 bucks pretty much every Steam sale so there's no reason not to get it >_>

No i was just pointing out the main story can take several hours and its not picking oysters like in san andreas, it does involve some bit of backtracking to talk to npc's at first but once you get past the first dragon its pretty objective driven and dungeon crawling for shit.

But as for actual replayability you can pretty much be playing the same game for hundreds of hours and never have to do the same shit unless you want to.

Skyrim Together is getting pretty close to an alpha release. They updated the to-do list pretty recently, and nearly all of the sync stuff was done aside from npc inventory. Then after that is setting up server-related stuff.
