I don't think Jews immigrating to Israel/Palestine is "wrong", I think the concetrated effort to shift population numbers and political power in that region that resulted in the situation in the 1940s (which resulted in the situation we have today) is wrong.

I don't think border control in the US is a bad thing and I don't think deporting illegals as a concept is a bad thing.

As it stands, no I don't think current immigration, legal or illegal, to the US does what happened to the region of Palestine during the immigration efforts of Zionism and in the aftermath of WW2. I don't think it's comparable in the slightest, actually.

I did have a thought though about the time difference in the Jewish immigration.

Maybe it happened too rapidly? I think it started around WWI? I will have to look into that.

Still, that is only like 30ish years, which is very rapid if so.

Then again, when did large amounts of immigrants south of the border start coming to America?
