I have been groped, forcibly kissed, cornered, catcalled, spied on, and assaulted on the street

It started when I was very young, maybe 11 at most. Everyone from teachers to pastors to firefighters. Men of many backgrounds and careers. People on the bus or train. People I knew and trusted. Others I'd never met.

I just noticed how very differently men, and often men in some position of power, acted towards me once that bit of puberty started. Now I'm grown and can handle myself. I'm no longer that appealing native target. It's just really fucked up how many people there are that act that way. And it's a lot of people

well I hung out with a dude who at least when he got drunk would say shit to girls if he thought they where hot. try talking about how big his dick was and shit like that. never could get him to understand that even if talking about how big his dick was worked, even though I highly doubted it would, that they'd discover he was a liar. I cock blocked him more than once. not normally something I do but with him it felt right. he was the type to take advantage of drunk chicks.

and i've seen several guys like him. its one of those things I guess its where you live. I spent a decent portion of my teen life in a trailer park so there you go.

I'm also pretty sure girls get together and talk about how hot or cute a guy was, thats just being human.

to point out I don't think race has much to do with it. i've hung out with plenty of blacks and hispanics and they are just as bad. its just a "masculinity" thing, come to think of it most times i've seen it happen its been more than one guy, very rarely a single dude by himself (at least loudly) catcalling a woman or shit like that. so I almost get the impression its just them showing off their masculinity in front of the other guys kinda BS. next time I talk to my mom i'm going to have to ask her about this to see if her accounts back that idea up. she works in a prison and deals with this shit daily.
