Been bored at work so I made a list of my 100 favorite games. Should I post it here or is that kind of thing so overdone as to not really be wanted anymore?

Last night my friend had an extra ticket to LINDSEY STIRLING and Evanescence! Was a dang good time- I like Lindsay Stirling a lot (read her autobiography a bit ago!) but am not suuuuuper familiar with her songs, and somehow never really got that acquainted with Evanescence. Was a really good time though, especially with a free ticket for a decent seat!

Also my buddy brought books for the wait and got me hooked on one of them. He loaned it to me but I don't want to keep it forever so I guess it's time for another "bonus slot" lol >_> The book is City of Dark Magic by Magnus Flyte, and if you know me and the book you know I was unable to resist a fantasy (mystery?) about a musicologist.

SoS: Jamie smacking down the whole King's Guard is kinda great. I have suspected the Tyrell grandma since before anything happened! :D She seemed kinda unconcerned with Joffrey being a jerk.

SoS: Man they swerved me so many times today. (although to be fair I got a lot of driving in) Shoulda seen the Shea heel turn coming, but absolutely didn't. Expected Oberon to be absolutely squashed by Gregor, and he wasn't. And then I went in to work right as he was readying the finishing blow, so I spent about two hours thinking he'd won. Geeze x3. Also man we are starting to reach a critical mass where ALL the faces are SO beat down that it's like why bother hoping? Maybe I'm supposed to be rallying behind Jamie's redemptive arc but ehhhhh. And a buncha Starks are dead, and Jon and Tyrion are both in the process of being executed, and Sansa's captive, and I literally don't even remember what Arya is up to but I don't think it was pleasant, and I think Bryeene is prisoner or something, and Dany is doing okay but we're making a point of how little she's actually accomplishing. Team Bran's doing okay I guess. But if we get to Jamie being the top face by killing or benching the rest.....I dunno, man. Somebody needs a W. I'm not expecting sunshine and roses for everybody but gimme SOMETHING to hope for before I have to commit to another absurdly large box of CDs. I guess Joffrey counts sorta.

Higurashi: hey speaking of upcoming downer endings! What an odd backstory Keiichi has. "Two young girls with long straight hair" has GOT to be significant but heck if I know who that is. I'd think one would be Rika but.... Anyway, man this bit about telling people about your past. I want to time travel back to when Ryukishi came to ACEN, take this conversation, and somehow use it as a bludgeon repeatedly on all the people who kept asking him about his friend who died halfway through Umineko. I'd forgotten about that but now I'm mad again.

City of Dark Magic: Looks like we're gonna have an interesting little mystery on our hands, although I dunno about the random fanservice.

Cucumber Quest: Aaaaand caught up! They got Carrot. :\ Interested to see what the "games" are though.

Paranatural: We're caught up here as well! Man that was a kinda unexpected ending on the Hijack thi- oh there's more. Cody backstory! And Dimitri doing stuff! And a weird new guy! And holy crap that was a cool bit with the layout on the most recent update.

Looks like it's time for a couple days' break from webcomics, because for some reason I had the poll run until a slot opened up AND we hit 500, so I'll stick to that rule. 8-bit theater is currently winning the poll, but several things are one vote behind! If one of them catches up....it might still be the next webcomic anyway, IDK. I tried to pick the most well-known webcomics off my list but the other two are getting shut out lol.

Persona: I can't get to the next Mementos leg yet. Ah well, I'll just grind then.

Sanctuary: Rolled through the Revenant. Blindness is scary, but not that hard to play around by now. Managed some equipment upgrades, which hasn't happened in a while, and also got my hammer to level two. I got far enough on the Brotherhood side to start getting stuff from them, I guess! Man, I'd be surprised if this was the run, but it certainly is starting to feel like I'm A) in endgame and B) ready for it.

Tabletop gaming: Today's game is Clans of Caledonia! It was a fun little economic thing where you're a 19th century Scottish clan, producing and trading various goods. I thought I was doing okay, but came up just a few items short of cashing in on some of the bonus points, giving me a dismal (I guess?) 97. I think I can improve if I work on long-term goals instead of short-term ones. I quite liked it, but playing on Tabletopia was even more frustrating than usual with all the little fiddly bits. Can't complain TOO much about getting to play for free, though.

Nadesico 15- The Significant Other From a Star Far Away: I have been requested to elaborate on my writeups for Nadesico, so I will attempt it! This show seems kinda hard to write about though for whatever reason. This episode starts out pretty spastic, jumping between scenes and stuff without an easily apparent reason. Lotsa talking about feelings, a bath scene, and smacking Yurika around to have actual goals. Shiratori is...special. I'm glad that Akito gets some time to clear his head around some regular folks....and right as I say that there's an attack. So....uh....the Jovians are human? o_O And Gekigangar otaku? That's a twist for ya.

SoS: Not sold on this Jamie turn still, although I might be later. Jon and Manse is gonna be interesting.

Higurashi: whoa sudden chapter 1 awareness! Weird. Whoa sudden Akane having a sprite! Neat. This has taken a pretty interesting turn- are we heading for a good ending alrea-oh frick we're gonna burn down the school I bet. Chie said "au au" and boy that took me to some places. ....The hostage sequence was dang cool! I had been spoiled that there would be a rooftop bat vs. cleaver duel, long enough ago that I forgot where. It played out very well. Well heck I didn't think this was the last one but this is a pretty cool endi- oh. Hm. I do appreciate the PSA from Ryukishi though. He's an alright dude.

And that's that one! It will not be replaced by anything since it was an extra slot.

MLP 8-13- The Mean Six: Whoa, Chrysalis is back! Not bad. I feel like we've already covered "evil mane 6" but the dopplegangers are entertaining enough that I'll let it slide. Probably a lot of fun for the actors too! I'm kinda with Starlight on the camping thing- I like the outdoors, just in small doses only please. ....Huh, a cliffhanger sorta! Alrighty then.

Lucha 1-20a: Angelico and Havoc put on some gr8 sequences while Ivelisse channels Vickie Guerrero. Havoc dumps Ivelisse and immediately gets the win, raising the question of why not wait until after. (****) Angelico gets kicked in the head for his efforts. Cueto has hired Hernandez, whom I was probably supposed to recognize on sight but didn't. Bullrope match for the AAA Title! Cage/Puma later too I think, so dang this is a big ep. Good match, although I'm not sure that the stip added much to it. ADR over. (***)

SoS: 1) why are you over the wall stannis go home ur drunk
2) why is there a fake arya
3) why am I so excited for Sandor/Arya bonding
4) ASoIaF just got implemented in my TEW mod :D

Persona 5: I had no idea that you could die from Despair because Dangan Ronpa taught me nothing. That was one of the dumber game overs I've ever gotten lol, but it was right after loading the game so I ain't mad. Back to the real world for Death 8 (yay), Star 6 (boy I botched my responses), Akechi creepin' at the cafe, and VIDJA GAMES WITH FUTABA, which pushed me to Guts 4! Finally gonna start Iwai, looks like!

Sanctuary: Matron BEATED! I'm not sure if that counts as beating the game or not: the credits rolled (hey, Notch was a producer! Neat.) but there's still content to be had it looks like. I thiiiink my plan is to keep playing until either a logical "end" or this character dies because I dun wanna do all this again. Matron was...easier than some of her sub-bosses, IMO. Now I've gotta fight Legion Warriors or something. I'm trying the Earth Gate mostly. Events seem more common now and boy do I suck at not injuring myself on those.
