Months ago from CinemaSins when I realized I didn't really watch any of their videos anymore but was still subscribed and ended up watching a video from a channel that debunks their content and they made one explaining how CinemaSins is centralized on clickbait with every video being some combination of: satire, pretending to be satire, some sort of movie review, personal opinions, and being flat out wrong when nitpicking on things actually explained in the movie.

YouTube has sort of made subscriptions pointless because of the shit tier home page so I haven't altered my subscriptions in a few years.

A few channels I had been watching a few years back had deleted everything so I unsubbed. Some channels I don't even recall subbing to (never even heard of them) so I unsubbed after checking a few videos.

As for channels that I used to watch but don't anymore (but are still active), unless they've changed a lot (or my tastes have changed greatly) I usually keep 'em there just in case I see something new that interests me.

As a periodic cleaning? Never. In the case of I saw one of their vids in my feed, decided I don't like them any more, then unsubbed? Not sure. Might have been Key of Awesome years ago.

Cinemasins is funny af. Yeah he gets a little crazy sometimes with his sins, but it's all part of the entertainment.

I'll admit sometimes he's wrong about some of the reasons he sins stuff, but you can't expect every single thing he says to be accurate.

I unsubbed from Bad Lip Reading the other day. The videos are way too long now. Their writing has been pretty lame within the last year or so, and they've gotten into the habit of dubbing over large segments where no one is visibly speaking.

I think the refer to a particular "youtuber's" series of videos as a channel. not positive though i'm not a youtube expert. I get on there maybe once a month if that.

Never. That being said, recently, I've been using my XBox to watch YouTube. But I never signed in, so it's been picking videos based on what I watch more so than my subscribed channels. But since I'm not signed in on my XBox, I can subscribe or unsubscribe.
