That one of the gun store skills? I never raised his ranking because I only use guns for criticals.

Also, maxing out the Sun ranking lets you basically steal any creature of a higher level? Just got a Ganesha 12 levels higher than every other enemy so far. I mean, you'll still have to do the recruiting talks (probably) but man, players can get some mileage outta that.

He might not have gotten to them yet. It's Tower, I think? Yeah, guns are pretty much useless until those skills. They give you some pretty cool tricks to keep up your sleeve.

Guns are ok if you keep them up to date

Against regular enemies only every fire 1 shot against weak foes

Against bosses its nice burst damage if you unload a full clip since they do more damage than regular weapons

They are also super fucking cool

The Persona 4 Arena Ultimax DLCs, comes with an accessory that gives you a single bullet at the end of every battle. It's not bad for Haru but pretty pointless for everyone else.

Oh, here we go. Morgana is badass and he needs to be MC of Persona 6.

Some people got too upset about the minor narrations.

From this point, it's best to keep a persona with low level gun skills as a backup, along with Haru (who I usually kept on the back).

What level are you? At level 52 Dakini learns High counter, you can fuse it with Pazuzu to get Horus which you use to get Seth.

I actually had a Lv52 Dakini at some point for the High Counter, but thought I could just use the execution method to transfer the skill -- it didn't take. So, I just redid everything and put the skill on one of the components to finish up.

Anyway, the skill to just pay for badass personae seems sweet. Too bad it's 100K+ even for ten levels higher.

ah dammit, my memory all jumbled up. lvl 4 guts is for gun daddy, and i forgot what kind of stat needed for tower kid.
anyway, you better raise the tower confidant asap because he will teach you awesome gun skills. like double your ammo capacity, 100% knock down on 8 bullet cost (very useful on enemies without weakness), etc.

on top of my mind, there's 1 confidant on each stat that need lvl 5 to advance. kindness for sojiro, guts for iwai, proficiency for haru, charm for makoto, and i forgot who for knowledge.

I got about Y300,000+ from it, since I wasn't sure if it threw the money away (i.e. no one got it) or it would be great. Anyway, the boss drained all Joker's SP, so I just finished up. I'd normally agree that it's not worth it, but since Igor charges so damn much for the "make fusions above your level" method, I'll tolerate it.

Ahh, even after the traitor's reveal -- which I heard about during the first week of release, lol -- it's good to know my MC isn't some punk-ass who quit paying attention. This was a very fun game to break over my knee like a twig. Especially with Strength 10 giving me total free reign to do so without worrying so much about levels. They actually managed to make Yoshitsune even more broken if you get creative with fusion chains. Shame it's only available on the last day though, friggin' automatic Confidants *glares at Morgana*. 'Specially since I'd already got my fill on Reaper hunting before then (the manly way, not that punk-ass flu crap). So much fun going from doing 100-200 damage at most to punking him just like every other random Shadow. <3

I stopped once I got the teacher and Haru S. Links high enough. You got so much SP recover stuff from them, that I couldn't justifiy wasting an accessory spot on SP recovery stuff.

I just finished the game. Really did love it.

Persona games do some game feels that just no other game ever has. Like when you finish a story dungeon super early and then just have so many free days to do whatever. I love that feeling.

I played on hard and the game was pretty dumb with combat at first but then as I got more power in choice and how to build things I pretty much never slowed down at all.

The absolute worst, was the second story boss, which is RNG as hell. Persona games should not, as one of the first bosses, pit you against a boss with access to EVERY damage type your party is weak to, and then have them act right after the MC, because it's a total dice roll if they attack stupidly or systematically hit every team weakness in a row and just face-fuck you. And on hard everything is a 2-shot. And the boss gets 4 actions every turn cycle. So fuck.

And then at the start of the next palace, you go against a duo who has no weakness, resists physical, and just keeps spamming AoE phys damage that 2-shots and often crits. And there's 2 of them... And their attack is two-shotting. And then when you beat them, you have to fight two more at the same time. >_> I don't even understand how you could beat that without a persona with phys null. Which I fortunately had.

Basically what I did, is, once I found a persona with null phys/shot, I stuck to that like my life depended on it, and it often did. Shiki-Ouiji is I think what it's called. Looks sorta like mech made of paper. Base level of...23 I think.

I tried to always have my persona immune in some way to phys, and also curse/bless, because a turn-based game where it's game over the moment the MC is KO'd but lots of enemies have instant death attacks is a recipe for BS so nipping that in the bud was top priority.

Eventually I reached a point where I had 3 different persona: a weakness hitter, a phys crit hitter, and a tanky support because for awhile Joker is by far going to be the only good healer since he is the only one with access to Divine Grace so before the full heals come into play, he's the only reliable healer.

In fact, that would be my advice if you want to be a lot more successful. This will be useful for the whole game: get a persona with Apt Pupil (boosts crit chance), and: Lucky Punch/Miracle Punch, and One Shot Kill. Unless there's a large difference in luck between you and your target, it'll be a 100% crit if the enemy can be crit, and if you can also get Cripple on as well, the One Shot Kill will devastate. This is so useful for capturing new higher level persona you don't want to guess on the weaknesses of, as well as treasure demons. But the game doesn't really do it justice. Like, it undersells the power of Apt Pupil.

Once I got a persona with Apt Pupil, One Shot Kill, Miracle Punch and auto-agility buff at start of battle (to make it basically never miss), it felt almost broken. But I suppose being on normal, it's not like you NEED that. But I was just amazed by how useful this was, and while it's not like you can just lock down story bosses with crits using this, it's surprising how much it works on, and it's the best way to get hold ups/all out attacks on encounters with enemies with no weaknesses and makes every treasure demon a free boost of exp/money/100% capture.

I'm playing on normal, but yeah, high-crit moves definitely have their uses. I still kept my Miracle Punch on Morgana (I think he starts with it lol) just to fudge all-out attacks on foes with no weaknesses. I think I have One-Shot Kill on a teammate I rarely use...maybe Haru.

If you have Apt Pupil passive combined with a high crit move, it seems to be a 100% crit (unless the enemy is resistant to crits, whether that be some inherent thing, or just a large luck difference).

I had a persona I worked on its luck and agility as it leveled, had an auto-agility boost on it, apt pupil, and one shot kill and miracle punch and it seriously never missed and never wasn't a crit. And this stayed true until like, endgame, where some enemies sometimes avoided it, and rarely weren't crit by it.

But I could generally go into a 5 enemy encounter, and just go one by one and crit every one, reliably.

I farmed treasure demons in mementos several times and it never failed, until I got to the one with Evade Phys as a passive, then it sometimes failed of course.

It is true however that if you use a high chance crit move by itself, it fails a lot. Maybe a 50/50 chance at best. But if you put Apt Pupil alongside it, it can become a 100% crit.

Then you just need to consider agility for it it hitting reliably, but without fully neglecting luck.

The dream really is to get a persona with apt pupil, one shot kill, miracle punch, cripple, and auto-...the one that boosts speed, and the one that boosts attack, for the whole party.

I eventually got that and it was pretty bonkers. Became a solid pillar of my persona team from then on.

I haven't really bothered trying to do tons of perfect fusions since I rarely keep any for more than 1-2 dungeons. (Well, I kept Sarasvati since I always liked using it in P4...) Might be on the lookout for crit moves, if there's space.

Anyway, currently going through the ship palace. Only found the first two keycards, but I'm guessing that the cleaner is Akechi. A nice beatdown there would be nice.
