The Socialdemocrats government partner the Greens threatened to shatter the government if the SocDems dont stop deporting Afghans who were children when they arrived in the country (Swedish authorities do medical age exams since some migrants lie about their age). The SocDems said they will write a bill to Parliament to give law-abiding youths a chance to get a temporary 12 month residency permit but the bill hasnt been voted on and wont be implemented until July 2018 even if it passes through Parliament. So the SocDems keep doing deportations. I wonder how the Greens will react?

and as expected, the government tries to act like it's tough on immigration, (and by that i mean doing the absolute minimum to appear like they're following the current immigration rules in place) ,but as soon as anyone even looks at them, they back down completely, like a scared rabbit.

Yeah uh...so what's it say?

it's your basic #Refugees Welcome sob story article.

21 people were meant to be deported. 70 activists.
priest says "i can't believe this is Sweden in the current year, i am sad"

then a paragraph that basically amounts to "this guy is an athlete and everyone loves him bla bla bla and he's gonna be deported, i am sad"

then the rest is just quotes from a free-immigration activist saying exactly the kind of stuff a free-immigration activist always says.

More so because it often involves Islam

speaking of which, i've been debating in my head if i wanted to make a topic about the latest Islamist attacks on a synagogue in Sweden.

but i figured that would just turn in to the usual shit-slinging fest it always turns into.

I must be behind on the news, I haven't even heard of this yet. :/

the gist of it, as far as i can understand is that it started with a palestinian "protest" in Malm that i guess was started by the Israel Jerusalem issue, that then devolved into chanting shit about "The armies of Muhammed", "shoot the jews" something about an "intifada" whatever that means etc etc.
http://sverigesradio.se/sida/artikel.aspx?programid=96&artikel=6839254

and then, sometime later a both a Synagoge Malm and one in Gothenburg was attacked with Molotvs or similar objects.

three have been arrested in Gothenburg, reported to be from Syria and Palestine, they came to Sweden recently, like around 2015

it appears like no one was injured.

Some of the Afghans did indeed have their deportations temporarily stopped at the last minute last night but it wasnt the Government who did it. We got something called courts of law in this country and the professional wrestler got a lawyer paid for by his sports club who got an appeal through court to re-assess the deportations of some of the guys.
