This was something amusing. When the figurine came out, I was like "What the fuck."

Japan wonders why their adult diapers are outselling infant diapers. This is why. Those figurines...what the Hell man.

I don't see how owning a figurine has anything to do with adult diapers though.

Japan being weird is normal, but those 2 don't sum up.

The society is so...... creepy, closed in, and unable to interact properly with one another. Well, they are headed that way clearly. It works like this:

The more you invest your time and money into anime and figurines, there's most likely a chance you take little to no time with an actual relationship. Items like these compensate for many of the Japanese men to feel "fine" without meeting women, hindering the number of relatonships.

The lack of actual relationships across Japan harms the national population.

Seniors begin to outnumber newborns.

Adult diapers oversell baby diapers.

That's the thing.

I want to work in a Tsundere Cafe.

You know, we have a chain restaurant kind of like that. Ever hear of Dick's Last Resort? We have one here in Boston and I saw one in Baltimore, so it isn't just my state.

Do it. The guests go knowing to expect fun or a complete asshole. I personally never been to my local one, but I really wanna go.

If anyone here is in the Boston area, let's do it!

Also this site is a fucking mess, why is text overlapping pictures?

And this article specifically says the merchandise shown on the show or w/e is aimed towards senior citizens living in rural areas...

Bloomberg reported it too. That one was just the more recent one. Go to reddit. It's one of the more recent TILs.

The best way to describe "tsundere" to a non-weeb is "Helga from Hey Arnold"

That means nothing to me.

But from what I understand here it involves being berated by a beautiful woman. Sounds lovely.

Someone who switches between a prickly attitude and a sweet or shy one. It gained a bit of popularity because the gap between the nice and not-so-nice parts are appealing for a lot of people. You'll see them less nowadays because it's been pretty played out.

Evangelion has a tsundere as they would exist in real life. That is, completely insufferable and only succeeds in pushing people away because of how difficult they are to deal with by never being honest about their feelings.

I'm glad it isn't just me. They hire the leftovers. Seriously. I've been to IHOP three times. Not one good experience.
