Federal Law in this case supersedes State Law. Especially since it directly deals with national security and against a foreign nation.

Some stupid card game company bought property (that they never intended on actually using) on the border solely to prevent the wall being built in that spot.

If, for whatever (unlikely) reason that the Federal Government doesn't build the wall around it, or simply seize that property, they will be forced to pay millions in damages on a monthly basis.

That, and any case that they will attempt to throw to the Supreme Court will fail, when their stupid stunt backfires on them.

Remember that ranch near Area 51's location in Nevada that was grandfathered in by the Federal Government, before the Feds tried to seize it by force several years ago? I expect something similar to happen with that plot of land.

sure it will. they can sue the federal government. the federal government isn't immune to lawsuits. and if there's ongoing litigation a judge will likely say they can't build until it's resolved. that's kinda how it works.

He was diagnosed with a terminal form of brain cancer, Glioblastoma. its the most aggressive brain cancer we know of. He won't be running again, but he plans to stay in for the rest of his term. Most people with this cancer die within 12-15 months of diagnosis. I don't like the man much but it sucks that anyone has to go through that :/
