Your answer:

I'm so sick of all the dumb fucks that ruin our world.
One would think it wouldn't be too hard to have something simple as common sense, but nope apparently not.

A collective humanity doesn't exist so I can't say I have faith in it as a concept. People from different places are simply too different.

I swear that at least two thirds of the population are stupid, selfish, unsympathetic, and want to force everyone to be the same or else.

I've never hated humans more than I do now. I actively wish we'd all get destroyed.

History has always been filled with blind masses violently adjusting to changes and discoveries of a few enlightened individuals, and assuming just because they can "monkey see monkey do" they are just as civilized or intelligent as the people who were enlightened that they are now copying.

At the same time there are a greater number of enlightened individuals who realize how stupid everybody is and use it as justification for their manipulations and criminal activities (usually figuring out ways to turn the masses on the good guys at the same time)

There is a reason our founding fathers came up with a representative democracy instead of a pure democracy.

And we need those people. There's lots of mediocre jobs that need to be done, and mediocre people are perfect for them. Without them, their betters would be stuck shoveling shit instead of doing actually important things.

Its usually the people who are assholes that create the idea in peoples mind different work requires different rewards.

This is wrong.

You should be rewarded based on the change you bring about, not what you can trick people into giving you.

Ditch diggers contribute more to the world than miley cyrus, but of course her salary is probably that of all the ditch diggers combined (and now we have prison systems using prisoners to dig ditches for free, taking away jobs... but thats another rant)

I follow the japanese belief of "it takes all kinds" and not simply because "some people have better things to do"...

Its just sad that the verbal IQ of ditch diggers tends to be low enough that they don't know how to argue a fair wage or understand that industrialists still need workers to make the robots to replace them...

I voted for the option for good people being outnumbered by dumb fucks, but understanding upbringing has helped me have patience for many certain people. Lots of people were denied the chance to learn that there's good in the world, weren't taught how to be smart because no one went out of their way for them, etc...

The people who know better and put themselves before others and fight over stupid shit are the scum of the Earth. I dislike being around them. The negativity and hate really drains my energy.

Leave that mass of ditch diggers to their own devices, and nothing gets accomplished. Humanity amounts to nothing without someone to direct them, someone with vision and a plan that goes farther than just eating today. Miley Cyrus is no better than a ditch digger, I have no clue why you'd even bring her up because she's just a tool of an industry that uses her for their own profit well beyond what they're paying her, just like a ditch digger. She just makes a lot more profit for them than the whole chain gang of ditch diggers does, that's where her "value" lies, that's why she gets paid more.

And why wouldn't people want to get into a position of leadership for their own gain? The will to power is one of the most powerful human motivators and has been the main drive behind humanity evolving past small bands of hunter-gatherers who worship tree spirits and die from an infected cut. People wouldn't want to be in charge if there wasn't anything in it for them. Even someone with a grand "utopian" ideal would still be exercising their own will to power, because their reward is to see their own subjective version of "good" come to fruition. And wouldn't "utopia" actually be the worst thing possible for humanity? A state of total stagnation and uniformity where we say to ourselves "we have invented happiness and now there is nothing left for us to do." We need better people, and other people with incentive to compete with them to exceed them in becoming even better.

At one time I was optimistic about the prognosis of humanity's future. However, over the last twenty years, that optimism has diminished significantly.

So, to answer your question, I have little to no faith or hope in humanity whatsoever.

The 2000s is when humanity starting going downhill. 9/11 was the start, but around 2006 or so, you could see the political divides beginning to get deeper. Obamacare hit the accelerator on it.
