It plays pretty similarly to the old RPG Tsubasa games, with gacha pulls for players.

One nice thing is that you can instantly redo the forced tutorial pull until you get the player you want, even SSR rarity. (It's recommended you get either SSR Diaz or SSR Kaltz. I needed about twenty pulls to get SSR Kaltz, took only like three or four minutes.)

I was surprised at how long a match takes, given that it's a mobile game. You can speed up the matches if you put them on auto-play, but the AI isn't very smart and likes to just push the ball to the forwards ASAP and let them run out of stamina. You'll still win all the early Story missions if you do this but other modes or Raid matches will require more strategy.

Sorry to you Europeans and South Americans, even if you pick your language the game still uses the Japanese names for the players.

Nice to see other Tsubasa fans here... Still, these recent games are far from the quality of Tecmo's gems.
