The first few episodes were garbage, but once it starts following the manga faithfully at the Tower of Conviction it is actually pretty damn good.

I can't do it. One of the best things about berserk is its art. And the anime just shat all over that.

I enjoyed it overall, but in no way would want that style to continue for upcoming seasons. At best, it's okay; at worst, it's cheap-looking and wooden. The worst part is that this may be the only post-golden age adaptation for a long, long time, and they're squandering people's patience on schlock. (Oh, and they skipped

We live in a world were the gag webcomic One Punch Man had substantially better animation and artwork for its anime than Beserk.
