Trump. He's highly qualified and likeable. Obama is neither.

you mean Obama running for a third term, or in a hypothetical situation where he was running for the first time?

I think he'd win in both scenarios, but a better lead in the second one.

I wrestled hard trying to think of how to interpret this. I still don't know. I guess let's say, just because it's a hypothetical, and to be fair, Obama could run for a third term, but so too could Trump if he should win this contest.

Trump and qualified in the same sentence? Well racists can't have high standards.

When Obama was elected the popular consensus for any of his victories was never that people only picked him because he was the lesser of two evils. As it is now, Trump can't even beat Obama on Twitter; and this is an that Trump actually devotes his time and energy to. Trump would get crushed if he tried to compete against Obama directly or in an election.

Obama would have won even in the face of it being unconstitutional.

Obama, but it would've been the closest race out of the hypothetical three.

Oh if it was the first time, Obama would have the same result he had against John McCain. No Republican was gonna win that year, not even Obama if he ran as a Republican. People HATED Bush and killed off the neocon movement with that presidency and temporarily killed the Republican party temporarily. If you viewed yourself as a Republican in 2008-2010, you were considered a factually evil human being with no worth. Bush did so much damage to the Republican image during those eight years.

This. I still get into arguments with people who keep throwing in "he was only elected because he was black". Constantly ignores the fact that on top of the Bush administration fucking up, the banks were fucking up, and Sarah fucking Palin.

Somehow forgot about this when I was writing that. But yes, the recession was the icing on the top. NO republican was gonna survive that. Again, if Obama, JFK, Ghandi, Jesus Christ, etc. ran as a Republican that year, they would still lose.

Sarah Palin didn't help either. With the Republicans throwing out the most unlikeable VP candidate in history, it was like they wanted to get assblasted that year.
