Do you keep the same sleep schedule? As in sleep at the same time and wake up at the same time even on weekends?

Sleep for 25 minutes, get up for 5. Repeats until you get the full 8 hours

This helps with REM or some shit idk

I don't have the luxury to do that because of my random work schedule.

That's the culprit. Usually on those kinds of schedules your body ends up sleeping 9-12 hours on your first day off to compensate and restore a regular sleep cycle; only for it to be interrupted the next time you return to work. Still, any sleep you get during the work week helps.

There are days at my job when I come in at 9am then days where I'm scheduled for third shift and don't get out until damn near 3am. Those are rarely on the same work week but sometimes they can be.
