Your flight eventually leads you back to your home city.

Walky. Stay high up. We dont want to be spotted by mortals.

You nod. Gotcha. How close are we?

She looks around the city buildings. I cant say for sure, but her presence is strong here. Suddenly, her face gets tense. Wait. I sense someone on the top of that tower up ahead, she says as she looks over to the colossal skyscraper thats reaching up to you despite your high altitude.

You land on the rooftop and set Avery down, but she gets up slowly and proves to be able to walk again. You look around for the person she sensed, and sure enough, you see a body lying still in the middle of the rooftop. You and Avery walk closer to it, but you quickly realize who it is.

Lucy! you yell out to the body as you run up to her.

She stirs a bit, then sits upright and looks at you. Oh, Walky-- she coughs.

You kneel by her and notice that her clothes are tattered and shes bruised all over. Lucy, are you okay? What happened?

Yeah, Im fine, she says shakily, then coughs again. Got in a fight and got beat up from it, so Im just resting for a bit here.

Avery looks at her with concern. Where are the others?

Lucy gazes out in the distance. Still chasing after Lily. Those Angels are toying with us. Her hands tighten up. This entire city is full of them now. Theres no point in concealing your presence. Well run into one no matter what we do.

Avery spreads her wings out and materializes her bow. Youre certainly not wrong. I can sense a group of them approaching us right now.

You hold your hand out to Lucy. Can you still fight?

She raises her hand to decline yours. Fighting aint a good idea for me right now.

A) Let Avery continue after Lily. Stay to protect Lucy
B) Continue after Lily. Let Avery protect Lucy
C) Both of you stay and protect Lucy

Avery walks up to you and puts a hand on your shoulder. Keep going that way, she says as she points to the direction you were flying before you landed here. I shall keep Lucy safe.

Lucy coughs a bit. Thanks Avery, she says as she smiles at her, then she looks at you. Walky, dont worry about me alright? Just focus on getting Lily back. We cant let them take her.

Your immediate instinct is to stay back and protect her anyway, but theyre right; you have to save Lily. You nod at them, then spread your wings once more to jet to the air.

As you fly forward, the clouds get thicker and darker; sunlight becomes sparser, and you hear the sound of distant thunder. Her presence is very much visible even to you, and you can even feel how irregular it is compared to any other Demon or Angel.

Up ahead, you see a skyscraper even taller than the one Lucy was on, with a pillar of light beaming to the sky and the clouds circling around it. You actually have to raise your altitude to get to the roof for this one. As you make your way up, a feeling of uneasiness flows through you. Whatever is up there is something youll have to be ready for.

The distance between you and the top of the skyscraper shrinks quickly. Thunder roars once again. You feel a bead of sweat roll down your face.

You finally make it to the top and land near the edge. Looking around, you see Valerie, Allie, and Bub standing next to the pillar of light, which glows with fervent intensity that heavily contrasts with the darkness brought about by the storm clouds.

Valerie senses you and looks behind to you with a tense face. Walky, glad youre alright.

You walk up to join them. Allie hears your footsteps and waves at you, but Bub seems fixated on the light pillar. You wave back at Allie. Hey, uh, sorry about what I did back there with the--

Oh, dont worry about it! she says. Im better now, thank you.

Glad to hear that, you say with a smile, then look back to Valerie. So, wheres Lily? Even I can sense her presence is really strong here.

Valerie looks at the light pillar pensively. I dont know. Right now, were about to do negotiations. The Angels told us to wait here by the gateway to Heaven.

You look at the pillar in awe. THATs the way to Heaven?

"Yeah. Only those with pure souls can enter."

Suddenly, you feel a very powerful and overwhelming presence emitting from the pillar. A silhouette takes form within it.

Bub snarls. Hes here. All of you, step back, he says with a very imperative voice.

The three of you are shaken a bit by his candid command, but do as he says anyway.

From the pillar emerges a tall, refined blonde man wearing a three piece suit--and most importantly, he's carrying Lily. He looks at bub with a seemingly friendly, yet unnerving business smile, Greetings, Demon Lord. He bows. Allow me to introduce myself. I am God. He looks at Lily, then back at Bub. Curious, is it not? She is able to cross through the gateway just fine, yet her soul is tainted. A pure, yet impure soul. He chuckles slowly. Fascinating, is it not?

Bub stomps on the ground, creating a resounding boom. So, youre the new God. Listen, asshole, I dont know what your deal is, but you need to fuck off. I know you Angels never liked Demons, but to go so far as to try and conquer Hell is a new low.

God wags his finger at Bub. Tsk tsk. Lets try and act professional here, shall we? Im holding my end of the negotiation after all, he says as he raises Lily slightly. This ones soul is most pure--so pure that even I may fear her once she ascends to Heaven!--

You grit your teeth and speak out. Dont you fucking dare do anything to her!

Bub glares at you. Walky! Not now!

God starts to laugh. Oh my, that ones soul is most pure as well. What an interesting fellow youve picked up, Demon Lord. Such a shame that you have to taint such a rare jewel.

Bub crosses his arms. Enough with the bullshit. Just what do you want?

Gods expression darkens. I want revenge, Demon Lord. Revenge for what you Demons did to my father. For the Angels of the older generation.

Bub smiles smugly. Heh, so youre the son of that old geezer of a God, huh? Hate to break it to you, but that wasnt us.

Oh, I am perfectly aware. It has been years, after all, since the war. The war, which left an entire mortal city in ruins. The war, which left both Heaven and Hell in chaos. The war he tenses his hands, which ended in a stalemate. He turns around and lowers Lily inside the pillar, then turns back to Bub. Let us finish what our predecessors started, Demon Lord. Let us he grins unnervingly and holds his hand out, make a deal.

Bub starts to laugh. You? God? You want to make a Demon Deal?

God narrows his eyes. Im being quite serious here.

Bub gets serious in return. Alright. State your terms.

Quite simple, really. God points his finger at Bub. I challenge you to a duel--unrestrained from the rules of the mortal realm. If I am victorious, the girl becomes an Angel, and I am free to take Hell.

Bubs glare becomes more intense. And if I win?

The girl shall be set free, and I shall cease my invasion of Hell.

He bares his claws. Finally, an easy way to end this war. He balls his hand into a fist, digging his claw into his palm and drawing blood.

God strikes his palm against a ring on his finger, which creates a bleeding wound. My sentiments exactly.

They shake hands. A booming clap of thunder rings out the moment their hands meet, and everything darkens. The pillar of light disappears, but Lily is not present anywhere. The darkening is undone, and Bub and God have disappeared.

You look around and only see sporadic flashes of light in the sky. Is that...them?

Valerie looks to the sky with worry. Yeah...I can only hope he knows what hes doing.

Allie chimes in. I dont see Lily anywhere, but I can still feel her presence! Are they still playing with us?

Shes right; her presence is still the same as ever, yet she remains unseen. You can only look up at the sky worrying about both her and Bub.

Another flash of light. Bub and God are finally visible and trying to wrestle each other in the air.

God laughs as they clash. Lets be professional, Demon Lord! Youre not even using an inch of your power here!

Bub pushes him away. Neither are you! He charges an energy beam and fires it at God.

He flies out of the way. Thats it! We wouldnt be doing our predecessors any justice if we fought with our hands! He raises his hand and snaps. From the storm clouds emerge spears of energy raining down towards Bub.

Bub runs around in midair, with ripples of energy appearing at every footstep he makes, as though he is walking on an invisible platform. He nimbly dodges all the energy spears and fires spheres of energy in return.

God maneuvers through them with ease and continues his barrage of spears. Oh dear, this is looking a lot like a stalemate, is it not?

Bub continues to dodge and fire spheres. What kind of game are you playing here?!

God closes his hand, which stops his attack. Oh, nothing at all. In fact... he opens his hand again and conjures a gigantic energy spear. I say we end this all with one strike.

Bub stops firing spheres and starts charging a colossal ball of energy at his side. I like that idea.

They both remain idle as they charge up their attacks. The inaction only makes you feel more uneasy.

The clouds get darker and the sounds of thunder become more frequent.

Finally, Bub fires his attack--a narrow, yet highly dense energy beam that could probably destroy a building.

God flashes his odd grin once again and shoots the spear downwards to Valerie, and within the next moment, Lilys body falls from the clouds and right in front of God.

Bub, with widened eyes, immediately stops firing and rushes over to Valerie, but...

You watch in horror as the beam pierces right through Lily and God. LILY!!!! you scream in agony and fall to your knees. Allie covers her mouth, also in horror.

Lilys lifeless body falls down into the seemingly endless abyss below the skyscraper.

Valerie doesnt move, as if it seems she wont be hurt, but the sight of the spear getting closer is still something that causes her to quiver a bit. She closes her eyes and lets it happen...

Only for Bub to try and push it back with his energy.

Valerie shakily speaks up to him. Beelzebub! The Demon Deal wont let me die! Im not the one hes fighting--

I was careless, Val! He says as he struggles to push the spear back. He didnt mention anyone specific when he said you! He could have been pointing to our entire group!

Laughter can be heard faintly from the distance. You see God still able to move.

He raises his hand once again and the rain of spears fall once again unto Bub.

Valerie spreads her arms out and starts using her powers, which causes her hands to glow. If Im part of this fight, then Ill fight too!

No. Dont, Bub says candidly. I think Im gonna have to be...a little desperate here. Get everyone out of here, Val.

Valerie starts forming tears in her eyes. No...no, you cant! Itll be just like last time!

Bub looks back at her with his usual smug grin. Val. Thanks, friend.

Valeries tears flow even more intensely. History is going to repeat itself!

Bub starts to lose his hold against the large spear, and the barrage of spears draw closer. History doesnt repeat itself because people are stupid, Val. History repeats itself because we...cant change it right now. He turns back again. Im leaving things to Walky and Phoebe. Youll watch over them, yeah?

Valerie can only stare at Bub as more tears come, then she nods and runs back to you and Allie.

Youre both still shaken at everything thats happening.

Valerie puts her hands on both of you. We...we have to go. The three of you are engulfed in a red glow, but nothings happening. Oh no. Is it because the Demon Deal is still in effect?!

Bub grits his teeth and starts to emit a black aura. Val! Just find cover! The aura starts getting more intense.

The spears are now mere meters away from Bub, and the large spear is only barely being kept at bay.

God laughs once more. What could you possibly do, Demon Lord?! Accept it! Ive won! We can finally end this war! Or will you let it wage once again for our successors to suffer from?!

Bub chuckles. Walky. If you can hear me, sorry I didnt pay my share of the rent this month. But dont worry, at the end of all this, I will. After all

The aura completely shrouds him, making his form indistinguishable.

He lets out one last desperate chuckle. Your roommate is the Demon Lord, Destroyer of Worlds.

In that moment, the black aura explodes, engulfing everything in darkness. The spears get consumed. The building you stand on start crumbling. The clouds get sucked in, and thunder stops sounding, in fact, no sound is audible anymore. Everything is silent as black begins to eat everything away. Gods smiling face is swept away in black. Allie gets caught in black. Valerie, with tears still rolling down, walks into the darkness. Finally, it approaches you.

Allies gone. Valeries gone. Bubs gone. Lilys gone. Soon, Lucy and Avery will be gone too. You stay on your knees, beholding the calamity. In this moment, no more thoughts flow through you. Your life doesnt flash before your eyes. No one comes to mind anymore. Its all...

Its been so long since the last Realm War between the Angels and the Demons. Who knows how long.

Guess its time to find out.

Your eyes, heavy as they are, slowly open. Your entire body feels sluggish. You find yourself resting on a tattered old bed, located in a small, dimly lit room with mold on the walls and scratched paint. The only light thats here is coming out of the broken windows. You look outside and see a familiar site--a city in ruins with no signs of people anywhere. Only insects skittering through the streets, trying to scavenge what they can. The sparse trees are withered, with pieces of bark falling off.

Everythings fucked.

Despite how it looks, you can still recognize this city as your home city, probably because youve lived here for a long time now.

You struggle a bit, but you get up from the bed anyway. You limber up by doing some stretches, but you notice something new; your skin is shaded in crimson now, and your nails are black and razor sharp. With some suspicion, you feel up your head and feel something protruding. You hope its not a new dick.

You decide to use Phoebes copy power to see how you look now. Your copy appears before you. Yep. Looks a lot like a Demon. Enough of that, though. You deactivate the copy and head out the shoddy door.

Only to be interrupted by someone opening the door before you. You step back and get ready to fight, but quickly see a Demon.

She stares at you absentmindedly and drops the book in her hand, then readjusts her glasses to reconfirm what shes seeing. Her eyes water up and she runs at you and embraces you in full force. Walky! Sweetie! Youre finally awake!

You hesitate for a bit, then return her embrace. Valerie? Is that you?

She lets go and picks up her book again. The one and only.

You blink a few times. Looking at her closely, she really is Valerie. However, her skin has gotten paler and her horn is broken. Her hair also got longer. You sit back down on the bed and look at her with curiosity. Valerie, how long was I out? What happened?

Almost two years, now. She sits next to you and sets her book aside. Beelzebub died. Permanently. He sacrificed his soul.

You ball up your hands and look down. Bub

His attack was an explosion of impurity--the deadliest thing to Angels. God definitely perished, and we won the Demon Deal since impurity doesnt kill us. She puts her hand on your arm. Though, you were caught in the debris of the crumbling building. We found you unconscious, and youve been asleep since then. She smiles at you a little. Good morning, by the way.

You chuckle cynically. Thanks.

She looks out the window solemnly. Things were peaceful for some time. But that didnt last long. God wasnt kidding when he said that Lily would become an Angel to be feared. Her hands tense up. She somehow broke into Hell and opened a way for all the Angels to rush in. We lost Hell in a matter of days. They even purified the grounds which we revive in, so no one could come back.

Wait, Lily did all of this? Lily?! You glare at Valerie. Youre joking, right? Lily would never do that. No, she couldnt do that!--

I was there, Walky! she snaps at you. Lily...Lily changed. I wish I knew what happened to her. Brainwashing, power corruption, I dont know. But the fact is, Demons are nearly extinct now. She adjusts her glasses. Only a few of us remain, and weve taken refuge in this mortal city. Impurity still fills the air, so were able to camouflage our presence here. She looks back out the window. But I dont know how long we can keep hiding. As far as Im concerned, Lilys end goal is to eradicate every last Demon.

You clench your fists. I still cant accept that Lilys that kind of person.

Shes no longer a person, Walky. Shes an Angel now. No, shes a God, now. She stands up and grabs her book again. And youre a Demon Lord, now.

You look at her in surprise. Wait, I am?

Yeah, you and Phoebe.

Phoebe?! Shes alive too?

She walks up to the door and opens it. Why dont you go see for yourself? she says as she walks out.

You stand up and follow her.

The two of you walk through a few damaged buildings. You see a handful of Demons sleeping under the shade of these buildings, and there are some you see that are lugging around some bags of rocks and other materials. After a bit more walking, you arrive at a plateau of debris. Here, you, see Phoebe sparring with her copy.

She hears your footsteps and looks at you two with alarm. Oh, its just you, Val. Whos this with you?

Valerie smiles mischievously. Throw some moves at him and you might find out.

Without wasting a second, Phoebe shoots out a dozen copies at you with lightning speed.

However, you feel like your reflexes are much faster and your powers much stronger than when you were a mortal, so you shoot out five your own copies in quick response.

Your five copies take out five of hers, but seven still remain charging at you.

You materialize Allies whip instantly and take out the one closest to you, then switch to firing Bubs energy blasts at them which obliterates all but one of them.

The last copy reaches you and lunges at you with her dagger, but you sidestep it and trip her up. You decide to give Averys power a test drive and materialize a black bow in your hands, aiming a bolt of black energy at the last copy whos still trying to get back up.

Phoebe covers her mouth in shock. No way. Is that you, Walky?

You release your hand, letting the dark arrow rip through the last copys head and making her vanish. You then stand up straight and smile at Phoebe. The one and only.

Valerie rolls her eyes at your line.

Phoebe runs up to you and bows. Im glad youve awakened, mlord.

You put a hand behind your head. Hey now, no need to be so formal. Besides, arent you a Demon Lord too?

She stands up straight. Yes, but certainly not a Destroyer of Worlds.

Im not--

Valerie chimes in. Oh, but you are, Walky. Or at least, you could be one. As it stands, youre the only one that could match Lilys strength.

You look away. I dont know if I can fight Lily.

Valerie turns your head to her. Youre one of her closest friends, arent you? As her friend, you gotta knock some sense into her!

Phoebe stomps her foot. Yeah! Also because none of us want to die.

You pause for a moment, then sigh and look up to the grey skies. I have no choice but to fight her, huh?

Valerie crosses her arms. Youre our only hope. But right now, youre not strong enough.

You look at your palms. If Lily really did take over Hell so easily, then Ill definitely need more power. You look at Phoebe, then to Valerie. No, I need more powers.

A) Attempt to acquire Valeries powers (Valerie affection UP)
B) Inquire about Lucy and Avery, and attempt to acquire Lucys powers
C) See if there are other powerful Demons here

You stare at Valerie's lips. Hey, Valerie--

Phoebe steps in front of her. Oh no, you are not doing this again.

You raise an eyebrow. Doing what?

She crosses her arms and blushes a little. Mlord, you may be in charge, but you can't just...play with a maidens heart for your gain!

Valerie chuckles and moves Phoebe aside. Thanks for the concern, Phoebe-sweetie, but Allie already looked into it and told me how this works.

You scratch your head. I'm so lost right now.

Valerie giggles, then stares into your eyes mischievously. Well, close your eyes, sweetie, and I'll guide you, she whispers. Her eyes narrow and she bites into her lower lip slightly, making them look fuller.

You feel your heart beat faster. You're unsure if Valerie has Allie's succubus allure as well, but right now, you're being drawn towards her. You do as she says and close your eyes.

Phoebe gets even redder at the sight of you two and covers her eyes.

In the next moment, you feel her arms around your neck and you get pulled in. The soft, warm sensation of her lips overwhelm you as your lips meet hers. Immediately, you feel a surge of energy flowing through you.

She pulls back, which rings out the soft sound of a smooch. She then goes for another kiss.

Your eyes are still closed. All you can do is follow along to her pace, as though she was leading a dance between you two. You feel the warmth of her sporadic breaths as the kisses get more intense. Eventually, you feel her tongue dance with yours. If kissing was a conversation, then all you've been doing is listening. But that's fine. You've been listening intently, listening to every word, every intonation, every crescendo to the tone of her voice.

She pulls back one more time, then leans against your chest while panting heavily.

Your mind blanks out. You thought you were satisfied with simple pecks to the lips, but real kisses are on a whole other level. The energy that flowed through you suddenly jolts you and snaps you out of your trance. You notice that Valerie has lost balance and can't really stand--just like when Allie's legs gave in after you kissed her.

Valerie, are you okay? you ask with concern.

She pants a little more, then tries to stand again, keeping one hand held onto you. Yeah...thanks sweetie. She let's go of you and stands up straight, then looks at you playfully. You can take in souls by kissing, right? Thought Id show you how it's done.

Dumbfounded, all you could say is Oh. Thanks. Suddenly, you feel an odd sensation on your hand. You look to see them pulsating with a familiar red glow.

Valerie holds both of your hands. Controlling space-- she claps them together, and in a blink of an eye, you find yourself standing where Valerie was, and see her standing in your previous spot. --is my specialty. She let's go of your hands, then she picks up a small pebble. You can swap anything-- her surrounds the pebble in a red glow, then it turns into the book she was holding. --so long as you know where both things are the moment you swap them. And when you get really good at it she drops her book, which creates a dust cloud from the debris, then she spreads out her arms and condenses the dust cloud into a dust barrier around her. ...you can get a little creative. She disengages the barrier, then smiles at you.

You look at your hands with a bit of excitement, but you decide that youll try out these powers when theyre needed since time isnt a luxury. Thanks, Valerie. But this still wont be enough. Would you happen to know any other powerful Demons around the area?

She ponders over your question for a moment, then looks at Phoebe with disappointment.

Phoebe nods at her with a sigh, then walks up to you. Sadly, only...Kryden comes to mind. I dont even know where he is, either. Hes always out doing something. Do you really want his strength?

Valerie shrugs. Hey, I mean, the kid could have been a Demon Lord.

Really? you say with skepticism. Kryden? That guy with the stick? Youre saying hes as strong as you and Bub?

Valerie picks up her book and adjusts her glasses. Dunno. He never went all-out, even when he fought us. Yet he was always a pain to fight. She turns around and starts walking away. I got things to sort out, so Ill catch you guys later.

Wait, you stop her, have you seen Lucy and Avery?

B) Lucy and Avery

Valerie pauses for a moment, then keeps walking again. Hopefully still alive. They went after Lily a few days ago. Havent heard from them since.

You clench your fist, then look at Phoebe with urgency. Phoebe, if you have any idea where Kryden is at all, please tell me.



White.



Everything is all white as you sit on your throne. Youd prefer it if it was more purple, but white seems to be the standard in Heaven.

Boring.

You stand up and stretch; not a good idea to be sitting all day, after all. You walk towards the giant window, where youre able to gaze at the grandiose settlement below you, lined with white houses, white buildings, white roads, and a black dragon.

Huh. A black dragon. Thats new.

Suddenly, you hear your door burst out from behind you. A male voice speaks out with urgency. Lily, someone--

Thats God to you, Anthony, you say without even looking at him.

O-oh, my apologies, God, but Heaven is under attack!

You feign surprise. Oh no. I cant believe this is happening. This is the first Ive heard of this. You turn around and face Anthony with a sarcastic face. Its almost like I never had this window.

Hes sweating bullets at this point, hoping he didnt offend you. Which he didn't, but you pretend that he did anyway. Well...uh...what do we do then?

A) Let them come to you
B) Order all of your forces to defend
C) Deal with this personally and visit them yourself
