Lying about the extent of victimization is a shitty thing to do, but not as shitty as lying to promote xenophobia (especially to groups that already face enough as it is). He didn't lie about 'the extent of victimization.' Both statements are straight-up lies, with no basis in fact whatsoever. This has been proven time and time again. He repeated bald-faced lies to perpetuate a message, then doubled-down on the message after being proven wrong - EXACTLY like this.
