Probably Vice City, yeah.
Maaaaaybe Las Venturas or San Fierro, but definitely not Los Santos. The freeway in Los Santos always fucked me up. GTA3 I played as a kid, so I spent a lot of time on the first island. I'm pretty sure I could tell you how to get to the car dealership from Salvatore's. IIRC, the second island is just a giant strip, so that should be pretty simple but I don't remember any landmarks. Really only the base Liberty City, I played GTA 3 on PC a shit ton, it was cool being able to load your own MP3s and the talk radio station was funny too

i've played them enough to at least know the routes between all the main buildings and such though finding the more obscure landmarks in SA might prove troubling

Can vaguely remember the map shape in 3. Only the eastern coastline for VC.
Can still remember Los Santos pretty damn well, including some of my standard weapon/armor/vehicle pick up spots. I have the GTA3 map memorized by heart.

Vice City?
Yes. Liberty City? Probably got an 80% chance of giving the right direction. Probably 90+ if Im sitting in front of the screen. San Andreas? Probably 80+ pointing out in the right place, 90+ pointing out the right area. --- GameFAQs isn't going to be merged in with GameSpot or any other site.
