I just had to kill one crawling about on the wall never had a single roach before ever One I killed was small and black/brown luckily not one of those fucking silvery shiny abominations that make me wanna puke. That's what I'm scared of getting some roach fucking swooping on me, I don't do bugs. I'm praying we don't end up with an infestation. We're really lucky when it comes to avoiding that, all the neighborscomplain about outrageous mice and bed bugs and we have none probably cause all the damn cats we have. ESPECIALLY if he lived in an apartment. -Call a company IMMEDIATELY because it's still possible to nip it in the bud before you get an infestation. if any of the ones that he brought in are pregnant, you want to get rid of them before their egg sack can hatch. (FTR one female can produce like 20+ babies at once) -Some roaches can in fact fly. Ironically, in general, bigger or flying ones are usually better to have than small ones since a lot of flying ones (i.e. wood roaches) tend to live outdoors and don't reproduce inside homes. Small ones are usually German cockroaches, which don't fly. They're the most common ones that infest buildings. So yeah, smaller isn't better. -that said, just because you've seen a few doesn't mean you instantly have thousands of roaches in the walls of your place. Like I said, if you act fast and are lucky, you can probably stop the few that snuck in before it gets it of hand. -Also, dirty people don't actually attract roaches. 99% of the time you get roaches in the house it's a situation like you, where they snuck in undercover in some boxes or luggage or shit. Dirty houses don't always have roaches and clean houses can still get roaches. (It's just that gross shitty places do make it easier for roaches to keep living there) -If you're too lazy/poor to hire professionals, The best thing you can get over the counter is glue boards, and put food on them. Raid won't do shit, and bug bombs don't have any residual effect either. Get glue boards and put them wherever you've seen the things.
