All things considered, the initial price, buying it for another platform/a remaster, DLC, microtransactions, etc.

For me it's either $180 or $200 for Grand Theft Auto V. I bought it at launch for PS3 and then PS4 at full price and I have to admit that I bought shark cards >_> and that's why I said either 180 or 200 because I can't remember if I bought 2 or 3 of the $20 ones. But in my defense I did that back when $1.25m was actually worth something in the game and it was pre heists so there weren't any particularly great ways of grinding money except Rooftop Rumble which neither me or my friends were a high enough level to start at that time. I haven't bought any post heist update though and never will, don't judge me I already feel dirty for it ;_;
But that number could still potentially rise because if I end up with a PC capable of it, I'll undoubtedly get it again just for mods and stuff.

Oh yeah that's a good one I didn't even think about. Between the cost of the full set plus DLC songs I could see that racking up for a lot of people.
I luckily never got too into that and only ever played at a friend's.

I don't know how much I spent on Rock Band songs but it's either RB or The Secret World - I paid for the expansion packs and then I bought GM when it dipped on sale down to $125 or $150... Also I bought like half a dozen copies of that game for various people throughout the years to try to recruit folks (to no avail)... and then they re-released it as an F2P game rofl

That's the single reason I never bothered trying WoW anything. I'm generally a cheap and frugal person and all I think is how much that could come out to if I was subscribed for a couple years even if I wasn't able to play it very frequently. I'm the type that always feels the need to "get.my money's worth" so I would've probably ended up a basement dweller had I gotten into something like that. I'd just be playing it constantly since I'm having to pay for it either way and after enough time passed and I wasn't even enjoying it anymore I'd be like "I can't just cancel it and stop playing, I've paid all this money each month for x amount of time..I can't just throw that all away!" Lol.

If you feel like it you could mention both your high for a subscription game and the highest from a non subscription game.

I've also bought about 3 100 dollar shark cards, but the shark cards were bought with gas card reward points so that doesn't really count.

For a few months I did a dual box ranger+bard but didn't buy the expansions for the secondary account. Got bored of it before even reaching the level cap

I sort of give myself a pass for the handful of games I've splurged on because they have to be something I really enjoy and put many hours into and for the rest of my gaming purchases I almost never buy games upon release at full price.

But I think its silly to say it's stupid to have ever spent more than $60 just period. There's many great games worth their full price plus had quality DLC worth buying as well. Red Dead Redemption is a good example of that for me, easily worth $60 and Undead Nightmare was easily worth the $15-$20 or whatever it was, I don't remember. Granted I personally got it as the GOTY edition which had both for like.$20-$30 but I would've been willing to pay full price for it if I knew then what I knew after playing it.
But I will agree that generally most games aren't worth spending more than $60 on even with their DLC. But there are exceptions.

Borderlands 2 probably. I bought the game at full price, two of the big DLC's, the Handsome Collection, and both of the DLC characters. If not that then Destiny 1 just because the DLC's were expensive.

For stand alone games, I spend $130 on the kickstarter for Pillars of Eternity special edition collector's box.
