That's the easiest way to recycle them Anyways I've lived in a house like that and and we would just tie up the plastic bags from our rooms/bathrooms and put them near the trash in the kitchen. Then when taking the kitchen trash out, you just use your other hand to grab all the small light bags. Easy.
