According to the FDA site it says not car trunk specifically. But unsure if the outside temperature would play into this.

A turkey takes like 24 hours to thaw in a fridge, however 57 degrees is a bit warmer than your average fridge temp.

My gut says there should be no problem but no sense in taking a risk in unknown territory.

I brought a loaf of bread to work once and put it on my desk because I didn't want it to sit in the car. Coworkers laughed but it wasn't a big deal. In fact, I laughed too because it was funny.

Though there's the matter of room in the office freezer...

Side note, I ended up buying 6 turkeys this year. ~$6.50 each because Walmart was selling them as loss leaders for like 40 cents a pound.

Hosting for my family so I'm cooking 2.
Going to rotisserie (ronco) one and either sous vide or roast the other.

Loss leaders? I dont know this term, does it mean a product that they sell cheaply to get you in the store to buy other things?
