Movie was terrible. How do you get a nearly 2.5 hour runtime and it slogs along that painfully?
So many things happened for sake of plot convenience.
The racial stereotyping in the movie was insane. I love how the Chief was just the magic deus ex machina whenever they needed it.
And the action.

Holy crap the action was terrible. This film had more slow motion than the Matrix trilogy. All three of them.

wtf

There's a reason the Chief is like that. It's an easter egg that only people who spoke his language caught, and it was pretty clever in hindsight fufufufufu.

But since the stereotyping was insane, what else?

You wen't paying attention. Lots of users said the movie wasn't that good.
Not that bad either though. No where near deserving of the scores it got.

Considering most of the movie is Wonder Woman finding out she's wrong about everything, not sure that would be accurate. >_>

Wonder Woman's largely undefined powers popping in and out of prominence when the plot dictates they should - one minute she can take on an army, the next she's worried about bullets.
Steve being the first guy she meets and also falling in love with him (I know this is comic canon, but still).
The first person she meets and sides with happens to be the "good guy," and not the other way around.
Ares just happens to be involved with the big war like Diana thought.
The Chief is able to find any location and steal any car.
The gala is super easy to break into.
There's probably more but it's late and I'm sleepy.
Oh, the fact that anyone can just apparently walk onto and around military bases unmolested. They do a ton of putzing about in this film and nobody gets shot.

I don't speak the Chief's language so I'm afraid I'd need the easter egg explained.

With the rest of the racial stereotyping, it's weird how the group is just this hodgepodge of the most stereotypically "I am this race" cast. The Scottish guy in the kilt with the thick accent, the token Indian guy, the Native American, all just putzing through Europe.

Have to go to work for now but, I want you to rethink this.

You are complaining that the god of war was involved in a war.

Also he wasnt nearly as important as Diana thought. The whole point of her character was learning to love people despite their potential for being terrible.

Re god of war showing up it's more in the "how" than the "why."
I almost liked the twist where the general guy wasn't Ares (but holy crap him and the doctor were like Boris and Natasha level bad as villains), but then the big reveal was pretty stupid.

Etta wasn't bad. I didn't have anything against her.

I must have completely missed the him being a demigod part (that or it wasn't explained well) but that absolutely makes a difference and is something the movie should have made more of a point to tell you.

So much of this. There was barely any action in the film and the action that was there was so muted and boring. None of the scenes had any weight to them and all the slow-mo took me right out of it. The best fight scene in the film was when WW pulls out her lasso in the village and takes on a couple dudes because they finally cut out the freaking slow-mo and just showed her clobbering some guys.
Everything else was super lame.

It wasn't explained anywhere except a throwaway line in the movie in a language that wasn't subtitled, then the character's actor came out and confirmed that The Chief was in fact a demigod.

I mean they lasso'd him so they knew he was good. If he was bad he would have been executed on Themyscira.

Pretty much everyone agreed WW was really only as good as a mid-tier Marvel movie. It's just that that looks amazing when compared to the dumpster fire that is the rest of the DCEU.
