I read today that Case Keenum has only been sacked five times this season. Sockman already mentioned how improved the O-line is but that number is insane. Tom Brady, for example, has been sacked 23 times in comparison. The closest guy this year who's started a comparable number of games is Brees with 10

Also it was depressing to look at the sack list and see Semen tied for sixth-most even though he hasn't played in several games

That's debatable. Siemian's numbers are better but not by a significant measure, and they still suck. He also got the benefit of starting in games when the team still had some spark to it. Of course Brock's numbers are going to be shitty when he's thrust into the middle of a losing streak where there are moments where the whole team seems like it's quit. I'm not sure if he's even had the chance to play with a lead yet this season.

Not that I'm in the tank for Osweiler or anything. His play isn't excusable but the whole team has got issues. I hope all three QBs are gone next season but I don't know who is gonna replace them. Best case scenario is Cousins. Plan B should be Keenum or Eli, and then Elway can buy some time while he drafts another inevitably bad project QB

Sloter is probably just another QB who played way above his head in preseason, but why would you dump him for Brock fucking Osweiler?

Also that promotion reminds me of this place I went to that offered a free beer with every score (or it might have been every TD). That makes more sense than until the team scores, except the night I went, the teams were scoring like crazy. I think they both had over 40 and incidentally, one of them was the Packers. I got really drunk, I could hardly keep up with drinking my beers

it's crazy. check out this play. This is just one play,but they've been playing like this all year.


Another crazy stat. The Vikings signed free agents RT Mike Remmers and LT Riley "Great Barrier" Reiff this offseason, and neither one has allowed a sack all year (including Remmers' backup, who has played a couple games)

Battle Chefs Brigade. It's cool. It's iron chef as an rpg where you have to hunt your own food but with hand drawn animation and a ton of fun world building. I really like it so far.

As for sports, Shohei Ohtani might get posted tomorrow. It sucks that he won't get a ridiculous amount of money but I'm excited to see him play <sp>for the New York Yankees </sp> in part because he seems to think he's the GOAT. I'm more excited to see him hit than pitch because he's all but certain to be awesome at pitching but if he can hit even as well as Hideki Matsui he'll be perhaps the most interesting player of all time.

I'm also mad that in fantasy they split him into two different guys. It's funny that they had to but I would have preferred they force the owner to play him as a hitter or pitcher day by day. The hitter version is going to be all but worthless due to playing time.

Is there any chance he's actually going to pull double duty in MLB? I assume they are just going to force him into one position. It would be awesome to see him play the OF in between pitching starts but I just don't see it happening. He'll probably just be one of those pitchers who's like a bonus pinch hitter on the roster

He's almost definitely going to DH on his off days sometimes. Outfield seems unlikely.

He's legitimately probably got a bat that would play as a regular but he's a much bigger pitching prospect for MLB. I was reading about his hitting chops and the comps for his skillset were all great players. Charlie Blackmon was the top one I remember. Imagine if he could pitch like Darvish (he's probably better than him is my understanding) and do everything else like Blackmon. He's got legit raw power and that wacky Asian approach where you're running while you swing.

I know I bag on the Rockies a lot, but they might be putting together a decent team. However, it still sucks knowing that they have zero chance of ever getting a player like that (or big free agents from within MLB)

Well I know what you mean but Ohtani is actually a unique case because he wants to come over before turning 25. He can only get a signing bonus from a team's international spending pool and he has to get on a 6 year rookie contract. He's gonna play for the league minimum and take like a 3 million dollar signing bonus because he wants to come over that badly. It'll still be the Yankees because he wants to DH and they have the best situation for him for a variety of reasons besides that. The Dodgers are usually number one for Asian players but he wants to be a two way player and the Dodgers can't offer him that

I'm starting to think this too. Having Peyton Manning really shielded him, and I think Manning was a large part of why he was able to swing more big FA signings. He did pretty well drafting and finding undrafted FAs for a while, but the last few classes have been bad. There have been too many veteran stopgaps on the o-line (though it seems like there haven't been many OL draftees in the entire league that panned out lately), and too many draft picks spent on project QBs.

There were rumors that Elway was going to run for governor next year but he ended up not doing it. Thank god, since he's a nutty Trumpster, but is also probably the most popular man in the state. Although that last fact might change if the Broncos keep this up

Missouri basketball got an amazing recruit and he played two minutes before getting a season ending injury and he's expected to declare for the draft where he figures to be a top 5 pick. Pretty hilarious to be honest. Some old guys at work were really pissed about it lol
