Tbh I'm only interested in seeing JL as a morbid curiosity. I go into DC movies expecting them to be bad. So far Wonder Woman was the only one that surprised me.

There wasn't any reason to expect this one to be good in the first place. Snyder still directed everything, Whedon played clean-up at the 11th hour due to the former's personal tragedy.

But ultimately I don't blame Snyder. I blame WB. They've mismanaged DC movies for decades. It should speak volumes that since 1978 there have only been a handful of competent DC Hollywood films. Currently, it's because WB has been playing catch-up to Marvel this whole time rather than making good movies.

Objectively, there's nothing inherently wrong with Mos -> Bvs -> WW -> JL. One doesn't need to follow the MCU timeline. What's wrong is that three of those were just bad movies.

okay serious post. My thoughts on the movie

-wonder woman easily had all the best scenes.
-CGI was terrible
-camera movement during action segments were terrible.

If you watch the kingsman movies, they're probably just as chaotic, but the difference is that they have the character centered on the screen the entire time so you can actually see whats going on. This movie was hectic as fuck with so much going on and had that shitty shaky camera like a jason bourne movie

the intro was shot like a cheesy music video

pacing was absolute shit. And superman's mentality made no sense at all to me.

As a popcorn flick it wasnt really that fun to watch, because it was a chaotic messy shit show.

snyder's strength is action scenes, but this film was lacking compared to the action in man of steel and sucker punch
