maybe. and they are mostly married or divorced with kids now....I did know this one girl that was in her 20's that I knew before I moved to Alaska. she had aspergers too. and over the course of like 5 years we occasionally got together and went to movies or other things like once we went to one of those halloween corn maze things. but I never knew what to say around her and most of our time was awkward silence. I haven't even talked to her in like a year. and I didn't even tell her I moved. she probably figured it out though cause of some stuff I posted on facebook. I realized it was never going to work with her. 2 autistic people together is not a good match, I found out. one of them needs to be more normal and outgoing, or nothing happens

I mean they don't inherently equal each other. I know tons of people irl with social anxiety that aren't incels, myself included, and a lot of those dudes on like r/incels and shit didn't have crippling social anxiety, they just had toxic personalities.

I have Asperger's, and I have never had the problems that "incels" complain about. I also have a Master's degree in Psychology, with a specialization in Sexual Dysfunction, and have counseled "incels", and helped them to have healthy sex lives. I have reached out to several here, with no response.

It's my opinion that at least some of them prefer to be "incel". If there are any among you that do not, send me a PM and I will outline how I can help. Your personal information will be never be shared, even that you contacted me will be kept confidential. This is not pickup artist techniques, this is how to improve yourself, physically, emotionally, and psychologically, to make it easier to meet women and have healthy relationships.

I didn't learn how many girls were apparently into me until my sister started telling me years later. (Granted it wasn't a ton, but back then anything was huge.) I didn't even start picking up on those cues until recently.

I mean, really, you seem like a decent enough dude on here and from what I recall of your pics you look good too. I can't think of a reason you are single beyond simply not being that outgoing or approaching girls much (though for all I know you do it regularly, I don't really follow anyone's love life here, no offense).

my best friend is an incel

he didn't get there because he is "bad with women" or "autistic"...he's exceptionally smart, well-spoken, and capable of holding a pretty decent (60k/yr) career. granted, his hygiene sucks, but that's just bad habits.

he got there because he looked in the wrong places for answers. MRA's, Redpill, PUA sites, etc. It's all snake oil -- you can't teach charisma. His reliance on these avenues of "Education" bestowed on him a disdain, malice, hatred for women. Now, sadly, he keeps clammoring about how "women this, all women that, etc", and often refers to anyone female as "slut" or "whore" the same way you'd refer to a man as "dude" or "bud". it's very disappointing to be, because 10 years ago we were both in the same boat -- pretty bad with trying to get a date. Eventually I got over my anxiety (Read: developed coping mechanisms and went to therapy) which made me better around people in general.

You're right, I don't approach people. I'm awful at meeting people, and I don't really go out. I've tried online dating though, and it was a complete bust aside from 1 woman who said I wasn't good enough to be with her, but still wanted to be friends because we liked the same movies, then she turned out to be very stalkerish in the end. I gave up after that.

I don't consider nice people with things like crippling social anxiety or other social disorders to he incels. Incel also carries the connotations that you're bitter about it, feel like you're entitled to hot women, to sex from them, that the world is wronging you in some way, etc.

Can't say I have much else to offer to help you then other than to just ... you know, change that. Don't give up on online dating after one failure. Try to be more outgoing and meet people.

Small steps help obviously but ... obviously it's easier said than done.

You're a nice guy, Koga and you'll find someone eventually. I think you should get away from identifying with the incel label altogether. When people talk about them they usually mean the bitter and hateful people from the r/incel community, not people like you. The way it is now, if you don't have those negative feelings towards women and don't feel like they owe you something then you can say you're not an incel. Not to say you're not an involuntary celibate, but to say you're not part of that group of people.

Of course I don't have negative feelings towards women, that's just ridiculous. I do feel that I'm growing more bitter over this as time goes on though. It's so frustrating to see everyone else is capable of meeting someone, and there seem to be dozens of sex topics here daily full of people bragging about their experiences.

I do see what you mean, but it feels like people are looking down on those of us who can't find somebody. They act like having sex is such an important thing, that there's something horribly wrong with someone not having it(whether by choice or not), then those same people accuse us of putting it on a pedestal when all I really want is someone I can be comfortable with. It just sucks.
