The white liberal differs from the white conservative only in one way: the liberal is more deceitful than the conservative. The liberal is more hypocritical than the conservative. Both want power, but the white liberal is the one who has perfected the art of posing as the Negro's friend and benefactor; and by winning the friendship, allegiance, and support of the Negro, the white liberal is able to use the Negro as a pawn or tool in this political "football game" that is constantly raging between the white liberals and white conservatives.

He did let up on his views to some extent before his death. That pilgrimage to Mecca opened his eyes to the ways the Nation of Islam had lied to him.

That statement always basically implied there was no good white people.

He wasn't like MLK. He was a full-blown separatist.

He converted to Islam purely because he had felt black people were robbed of their religion and given white religion instead so he wanted to convert to a religion that was not white and he picked Islam.

He later admitted that was stupid.
