My toaster probably won't run Witcher 3, but I've always wanted to play a Witcher game ;_;

If not, any alternatives you'd recommend?

Yes, all of the Witcher games are good, and for different reasons. They also play rather differently from one another, so don't expect Witcher 2 to just be an older version of 3 with worse graphics.
Witcher 2 is very well written but the combat feels a little clunky and makes certain things unusable imo (I never used bombs past the tutorial personally >_>). It's got a more closed world design compared to 1 or 3, but the environments look gorgeous because of the attention to detail.

There are some gameplay aspects I wasn't personally too crazy about (biggest one is how potions work... even though it's probably most true to the Witcher lore, it didn't make for the best gameplay), otherwise a solid 9 or 10/10 game.

Thinking about it though, Skyrim SE shouldn't work on my toaster, but I've yet to have any problems with it
